bruh Posted October 24, 2024 Posted October 24, 2024 ok. Looks great! Hey, would you like me to make Stud.io instructions on Rebrickable for people to build, with all credit given to you? Quote
Auroralampinen Posted October 25, 2024 Author Posted October 25, 2024 few adjustments later now this is working perfectly Quote
Auroralampinen Posted October 25, 2024 Author Posted October 25, 2024 well more adjustments later and now this has a reverse gear now this is 5+R gearbox Quote
Auroralampinen Posted October 25, 2024 Author Posted October 25, 2024 here is underside of the gearbox:) 21 hours ago, bruh said: ok. Looks great! Hey, would you like me to make Stud.io instructions on Rebrickable for people to build, with all credit given to you? Well sorry for the slow respond i have to think about this but when im productive at building legos when i get exciting ideas on my head i just make million different improvements on stuff so its kind of difficult to make instructions because im not usually satisfied with first or fourt result so i make million different styles and upgrades with the gearboxes or the model its kind of never ending maze to keep track on my mocs and upgrades and im now taking the lego moc building spree little bit lightly because i work on my other favorite hobby now so the lego building spree has little bit slowed down and i will build something when i get a cool idea on my head:) Quote
bruh Posted October 25, 2024 Posted October 25, 2024 OK! Well, would you be good with the improved gearbox you already made? I totally understand upgrading it, but as far as I can tell, it is still good, so people will still be happy with it if it is good. If not, that's fine, but I'm just telling you that I think that it's already great, even without multiple more upgrades. Quote

Yes it already good and legos point has always been use your own imagination and creativity so if you are not happy with my desing you can improve stuff if you are more skilled than me:) Quote
bruh Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 Nah. I think that, at least until I build it, that it doesn’t need too much improvement. It looks great! Will you incorporate it into one of your Mocs? Quote

Auroralampinen Posted October 28, 2024 Author Posted October 28, 2024 well i decided to fully overhaul the 5+R gearbox and i spended this whole day from morning to night making gearbox consepts and going back and forward a lot of troubleshooting and many grey hairs later now i have finally realistic 5+R gearbox and while designing this as compact as possible was a pain and a nightmare end result finally works as it should and im really proud of my self i have to go sleeping i was not able to get myself off from the build eventhough soon 4 hours later is morning but finally the whole day and late night work has payed of and i can finally fully relax and not thinking and bothering of non working gearboxes anymore:) Quote
Auroralampinen Posted October 28, 2024 Author Posted October 28, 2024 a lot of fine tuning later:) Quote

bruh Posted October 30, 2024 Posted October 30, 2024 Looks great so far! Can’t believe how fast you build! How many hours a day do you spend building? Quote
2GodBDGlory Posted October 30, 2024 Posted October 30, 2024 I just wanted to say that it's been fun watching you build! It reminds me of my teenage years, when I had lots of spare time to build, and didn't stress too much about making everything perfect/acceptable to the online world. Your build style reminds me of how much fun that was! I'd still find your posts easier to read if you used punctuation and capitalization, though :) Quote
bruh Posted October 30, 2024 Posted October 30, 2024 Haha! Right now that is me! I am in’s chocolate, yes, but I have a good bit of free time that I use to build Lego! Right now I am working on a mobile crane. So far, I have just the boom from 42062 and a custom turntable, but I’m hopefully going to work on it more. https://rebrickable.com/users/BossBuilder/ Quote
Auroralampinen Posted October 30, 2024 Author Posted October 30, 2024 started working on rear and rear lights:) Quote
Auroralampinen Posted November 1, 2024 Author Posted November 1, 2024 Well i have spend now a few days to sort pieces by color and this was really boring so i have not builded the model but i soon will start again building and also i have looked and scoured the internet for many pictures of the real car wich im trying to model and it is looking good and this model is my first ever take to making lisenced moc i have tryed before but those projects failed miserable but this new project is going smoothly and also i have thinked the door opening mechanism for this model firstly i tryed using gears with friction but they were little bit clunky so i have thinked to hide the door opening button to air intaces on the rear so by pressing the air intakes the doors will open:) Quote
Auroralampinen Posted November 1, 2024 Author Posted November 1, 2024 well now i have started working on the sides:) Quote
