Looks really great. You have a nice collection. Like that not all soldiers are generic.

The old factions were so nice! This is a shame Lego gave up almost all of their own themes for licenses.

I really wish they'd relaunched the Classic Castle one with peasant life, forestmen and all the surrounding factions in a modernized version, with a variety of sets!

I agree 100%. They should really cut back on the licensed stuff and focus more on in house themes.

Black Knights > Royal Knights > Fright Knights > Dark Forest > Black Falcons > Dragon Masters > Wolfpack > Crusaders > Forestmen

I only collected up to 1997, so everything after that didn't fit.

They cut down on their short lived themes of the early 2010s because they put many of the same ideas into a small number of much larger evergreen in-house themes. Look at the size and breath of Ninjago, City and Friends compared to what they used to do.
