Hello everyone,

I recently completed the Yellow Hot Rod, a car roughly in a 1:10 scale, not based on any specific design. The build centers around an adjustable front suspension that I developed some time ago, adding a unique functionality to the hot rod. Given the model’s size, I was able to incorporate additional features that I hope you’ll find interesting for this type of car. The biggest flaw is that the car only runs on a single power function M motor, but it is safe due to its low mass and high gear ratio. An L motor (or two) would be much better, which I believe would be doable with a bit more time. Check out the specs below:

Size:

  • Length: 37cm / 14.6inch
  • Width: 20cm / 7.9inch
  • Height: 13cm / 5.1inch
  • Weight: 1kg / 2.2lbs

Features:

  • Openable doors & trunk
  • Easily removable bodywork
  • Front adjustable suspension & rear live suspension
  • Motorized with a fake V8 engine
    • 2x M Motor
    • 1x BuWizz 2.0

I encourage you to check out the video to see the suspension in detail and watch the car in action!

That low profile adjustable front suspension is interesting, and looks cool, nice work!
