Hi,

when I'm building a MOC, I want to have everything attached, or atleast not completely loose. I know a lot of people just put the books on the tiles at the table, but I want to attach the tomes, so it's not running around when moving the MOC etc.

Is there any way to attach the lego books and tomes instead of just letting them lie on the surface? I'd like to attach them to a table so that the front cover is visible and cannot figure out any option. I tried all kinds of clips, maybe a minifigure hand would go nicely, but I cannot figure out a way to hide and attach the hand. So what are your ways and ideas? I searched the web and found none such a solution.

Thank you for your time and have a nice day :)

I could think of a few things using sideways building to create a pin vice like setup to clamp stuff in, but it will never be fully invisible. Really depends on what the table is actually supposed to look like and how organic it needs to look as apparently there would be limitations placing stuff at an angle and some areas of the table would still be unusable.

Mylenium

You can buy small round magnets that just fit into antistuds under a tile/plate. Then put a magnet in the book and let magnetism do its job. Even if you cannot get it to stay by itself in an antistud, if you use rare earth magnets the attraction is strong enough to hold a couple of pieces together.

If you're going the magnet route then save the hassle and use blu-tack!

It depends on the timescale the MOC is displayed. Blu-tak can harden and can be difficult to get out of any holes once hardened and can also leave marks if left on for years.
