I became a Batman fan after watching The Lego movie (2014) - since there were no TLM sets with Batman in the first wave, I looked at contemporary Batman sets and became interested in the character and his enemies. Since then I always attempted to build my own Batmobile, only recently finding my favourite comic version - from Alex Ross' 2005 'Justice' comic - and recreating it out of Lego parts. But TNBA is my favourite take on Batman, and I couldn't ignore the Batmobile from this cartoon. This simple yet effective design is also my favourite - sorry, BTAS Batmobile, at least you were incuded in the TLBM garage, unlike your TNBA counterpart...

I am a strong supporter of 8-stud-wide Lego cars, and this Batmobile isn't an exception, unlike the beforementioned one - for me, building cars that are too wide is mauvais ton, unless justified. Besides, it had to match my two TNBA GCPD police cars.

The car's rear has three exhausts, as seen in TNBA episode 'Growing pains' - the central is a rarely used jet booster (this Batmobile seems to have a primary internal combustion engine - my respect!)

The cabin has full interior and should fit both Batman and Batgirl - I was too cautious to put my favourite Batgirl minifigure with perfectly custom-painted hair iside (albeit I tested it with a spare one):

Just like any of my recent Lego car MOCs, this one also has front wheels that can be steered:

Hope you like it!

The jet booster was only seen in one TNBA episode and was covered by an edgy cap the rest of the time. I redesigned the Batmobile's rear end to reflect this:

FINALLY I managed to equip the Batmobile with screen-accurate 5-spoke wheel discs!

Looks great

You should add some detail on the sides cause it looks a bit blocky, maybe use some grills, gun pieces

I can't stop upgrading my MOCs...

After I found the original TNBA Batmobile drawings I decided to make my build look more accurate. This included redesigning the front and cabin roof (which now has an inaccurate opening hatch) and shortening the rear part of the body. It's still far from being perfect, yet better that way:

The main problem of my model is that the Batman minifigure is very hard to fit inside the cabin properly. A black 6x6 dish with a bar handle would've been a nice solution for the roof, but is currently out of reach for me.

Sadly, I cannot do it - the original didn't really have any. Of course, it wasn't THAT blocky, yet I don't really have any ideas on how to make the sides curved without completely rebuilding my MOC...
