[MOC] - 1/1200 Soviet Navy battleship Novorossiysk (ex Giulio Cesare)

Fascist Italy's small WWII adventure in Russia cost them a heavily modified WWI-era dreadnought Giulio Cesare, commissioned in 1949 by the now-Soviet Navy under the new name Novorossiysk. The heavily worn ship had to be repaired several times and was constantly upgraded.

This little model was very tricky to build. Nevertheless, it turned out to be better than I expected it to be when finished. 

Yes, I know that the barrels of the two-gun turrets are too thick, but I think it's better than 1x1 clip plates...

Excellent amount of detail for the size! Would love to see something like this dropped into a landscape with the ocean and some shoreline behind it (built and not photoshopped of course).
