I'm sure this must have been asked before, but I wasn't able to find it via the forum search or index; apologies if I've missed it.

I'm creating instructions in Studio for a model which uses Power Functions parts. Of course, the PF part models in Studio don't have cables attached. 

I'm fairly clueless when it comes to other 3D CAD programs and custom parts. Is there an easy way to get the cables (with plugs) into Studio? Preferably with flex functionality so I can adjust where the cables are on the model?

I do not know either, but you can add pictures to the instructions, to show how the cables should run.

Far I know there is no easy way to do it.

You will need to model the cable in another editor and then import it into studio as a custom part.
