There's also a review from a guy named Don available on YT. Is it just me, or the engine+gearbox is a rip-off of the Lego BMW?
November 21, 2024Nov 21 I think the Yamaha was an improvement over the BMW, and I have similar expectations for this one. That being said, I still think that these are overpriced.

It was an improvement over the BMW one. The gearbox was the evidence. The new one does not even bring any concrete information so that someone in their normal senses can start criticizing constructively YET. I am sorry this kind of post just continues to have been making EB look worse for the past few years. You have rants go open a reddit thread. If you have substanciated rants open up about it here. TLG has both side of their coin but this kind of blatant speculations/thoughts/views just destroy the wellness of this Forum.
November 21, 2024Nov 21 My biggest issue apart from the engine is that they are way too fat. They look good from many angles, but when I saw them in person, they were very disappointing.

Compared to older models they came up with this one is objectively pretty bad
November 21, 2024Nov 21 I may want to add my concern for their version looking a little underwhelming - knowing what would be possibly in the smaller scale already + putting a buwizz 3, two buggy motors and a servo in and let it run as RC... (please dont quote my pics in the thread here directly; hope the spoiler helps to not get that much off-track to the set-discussion, otherwise @mods please delete what is needed please) Reveal hidden contents It is by far not perfect as it has two carry two buggy motors in this alignment, but at least not having the pregnant-lady look of the belly of the same scale LEGO version: more: https://bricksafe.com/pages/aFrInaTi0n/rc-superbikes/ducati-panigale

November 23, 2024Nov 23 Looks defo better from this side. I wonder they still used the old blocks for engine (studded ones) in contrast to the F1 car's newly molded ones. Maybe development frames were different for these two.
November 23, 2024Nov 23 ... and everything that shows this is a Ducati Panigale V4S is put on stickers (including the plaque).

As far annoncements are that for next Superbike season Ducati will go back to classic rear fork...due to extra ballast this year they had lots of problems at the rear...but we will see. Last weekend I bought my first Lego bike and I must say that Kawasaki looks better than most comments, so Ducati can only be better IMHO Edited November 23, 2024Nov 23 by 1gor

November 23, 2024Nov 23 This keeps looking better to me, but I just can't get on board with the winglets of these newer bikes. They're funny to my eyes.

It’s different because of the kickstand Ugh, I've always hated TLG for including unequal numbers of left and right parts in sets. Not just Technic panels but also in regular sets we often get unmatched wedge bricks and wing plates. I wish TLG would adopt a policy of matching left-right parts by adding spares.

On the Panlos official website you can see the full instructions for this motorcycle, and by changing the lower digit in the link, you can also see the instructions for other motorcycles from this manufacturer. http://instructionspanlos.wanjushuo.wang/Instructions/Detail.aspx?ItemNo=672101 Unfortunately the speed may be very low, but the same instructions can be found in the YWOBB library.
November 25, 2024Nov 25 well i found on reddit all the offical images https://www.jb-spielwaren.de/en/lego-42202-ducati-panigale-v4-s-motorcycle/a-42202/
November 25, 2024Nov 25 What a cheap way to "animate" the suspension The same picture is copied over and trasnlated upwards. Anyway, there are some setup unrealities (small engine, the clutch cover probably has no working stuff under it, it's just a decoration).
