Hi everyone!

I recently purchased set 75382 UCS TIE Interceptor and I wanted to try and turn it into a TIE Fighter with only parts from the set, this is the outcome.

Changes were only made to the wings and stand. Both wings are mirrored and use the exact same pieces. Some inspiration was taken from the 2015 UCS TIE Fighter (75095)

The smaller surface area of the TIE Interceptor wings made it difficult to cover the wings fully, but I believe it turned out well.

Details:

  • Size of Model: 33.5 W x 27.5 L x 41.5 H (cm)
  • 0 extra pieces are needed!

Here's the link to the Rebrickable Instructions if you'd like to build it yourself:

Title Clarity

I had been wondering if anyone would attempt to combine the two UCS TIEs (new cockpit + old or updated wings). I didn't expect it to be possible using only parts in the one set! Nice job.

I was surprised to see that no one had done it, then I tried doing it and realized why haha. The black parts are very limited and their usage had to be carefully planned, I think I did pretty much the best I possibly could with my abilities. Thanks for the kind words!

Combo would be awesome, I definitely prefer the bricky cockpit of the 2015 UCS TIE compared to the Interceptor

Interesting to see how people are split on the cockpits, I've seen a lot of fans prefer either one or the other. I also preferred the 2015 cockpit until I got the set in hand, so there's that lol. Thanks for the suggestion!

Nice reworking of the set. My only critique is the blue plates on the inside of the solar panels. The incorrect name plate is forgivable under the circumstances. Must be a mistake at the Empire's supply corps.

Haha thanks for the support! Unfortunately, there wasn't enough black plate to cover the blue, I'm sure 10-15 additional plates could cover the remaining filler brick!
