well i found picture of 42207 on reddit

Well i saw pictures of 2025 speed champions they had wider rear wheel but the technic sets dont have wider rear wheels

Well that's something. I jus hope that it is at least a little bit different Frome the previous F1 cars.

Here are the new parts I found:

• 2L beam with a ball joint
• New wishbones
• 2x5 Micro panels
• New, longer links?

Let's hope Lego will introduce a socket variant for that 2L part.

AKA if they can get away with equal tires and people still buy it, why not do it again?

Looks good so far.

Not sure where these new 2x5 panels are.

Tires are same size but at least printed, probably still no gearbox and paddle shifter but we will see about the 42206 red bull FI set.

The new parts are cool 🙂

Yes, it totally makes sense for Lego not to introduce different tyres. Value is terrible for 229 euros.

Do you seriously expect remotely operated functions other than steering in a 230€ Technic set? This is a display model for people who never bought a LEGO set in their life after all.

You're right. These should be in the icons theme because those cars have the same functions apart from the suspension which sags overtime anyway.

Agreed. $240 is way overpriced, even for Lego. However, it does look cool. The curved black round 3 x 2 beam also looks new.

The headrest is just a 3x3 T beam and then 2 comma panels (89679)

I now see the 2x5 new panels, totally pointless IMO because we have 89679 as well as the 3L version of 89679

In the headrest, but to me it looks like 3x3 T beam plus two 2x1 panels on the side.

Is this accurate? I mean the price could be accurate but with 42171 having 1643 pieces compared to 1434 for 42141, is it realistic for the next model in the series to lose almost 300 pieces?

This looks nice. It's way better than the Mercedes and a nice refinement on the McLaren. But, a bit like the 1:8 supercars it's all a bit too familiar. By the time they do the 2026 or 2027 version is will probably be perfect.

Unless there is something clever we're not seeing in the photo, I suspect I'll stick with just the McLaren, even though this does look better. It's too much money for not enough experience.

I recon the F1 cars and the ducatti for 2025 will get recolored (probably black) #7 connectors
