It looks like reddish brown and seems like slightly altered like new 45' knob wheel.

The funny thing is that an 8z gear when rotated 45 degree will still give you the same teeth arrangement.

So it's probably only off by 1/16th of a rotation, or a half-tooth

I was thinking whether the suspension arms are one big piece or built from 3 parts (two identical sides plus a central short liftarm with towball socket). I really hope that it's the latter. But what do you mean by diagonals? The two sides of the suspension arm assembly? Do you think that the suspension arm is 3L together with the towball socket, or that it has 3 holes besides the towball socket? I hope it's shorter because one with 3 holes would be too similar to the existing one with 4 holes.

Also, it seems that the side parts of the suspension arms are 7L, have one pinhole at the chassis end and two holes at the outer end, one of them being an axle hole. Then the central towball cosket adds two more studs, so the whole suspension arm assembly is about 9L. So the steering links may just he the existing 9L ones, but they do seem a bit more like axles, so they may be some new moulds without stop in the end. That would be really good.

The new 2L liftarm part with the towball (probably has an axle hole in the far end, and is mounted onto a 2x3 curved liftarm) is used in a pushrod style suspension I guess, with regular 6L links.

Yes, the two sides. I think the suspension arm has a + O shape. Since the 9L link no longer require tops to keep the from falling out, they may have been redesigned to be without stoppers like 6L.

I think this image here has the clearest view of these new suspension arms. It's hard to tell if there's anything weird attached to it on other sides, but I'd say there's basically just a 3L beam with a towball socket on the end, which should be super useful!

1280x1286.jpgi wonder is this the designer or is this a lifestyle image:)

If I am not mistaken it is the same designer who designed the 42126 2WD Ford Raptor. Hope it turns out well

So proper width tires were possible for Icons as well. Technic fans don't deserve it. We can't have everything perfect or there wouldn't be anything to complain, right?

Unless I'm missing something, imo it doesn't seem like the 42207 Ferrari SF24 tops the original 8674 Ferrari F2005 set with a V10 engine.

Well i yes i feel this that this needs bigger engine but the f1 regulations and fia regulations have changed drastically in the last 10 years and nowadays we cant have any more cool v12 engines

Don't forget that this has a gearbox of some sort, and a DRS.

Oh please no. Raptor was full of building flaws.

I agree. Since there are some things I can't really understand in official sets (which might be called "flaws"), I suggest that we talk about these phenomena.

This would be a very appropriate topic for this forum for advanced technic builders, AFOLs etc. and might contribute to avoiding these kinds of flaws in our MOCs.

Yes i started building my moc countach because of few reasons firstly i wanted to challenge myself secondly i kind of liked the countach thirdly i have never been great at desingning mocs and fourthly because many criticised the lego icons countach set looking wrong and the 911 alternative countach looked much better and this is behind the scene thing of my countach my countach is builded only using pieces from 3x 42168 3x 42177 3x 42156  3x 42157 2x 42173 2x 42158 2x 42153 and 2x 42167 and i had a ton of left over pieces but the countach quattrovalvole is alternative build of those sets i did not use any other pieces:)

And i forgot to add this and the countach needed also 3x 42175:)

I just have read the spec of this set from Lego website. It says,

Detailed engine and gearbox – Remove the engine cover to explore the LEGO® Technic™ car’s 2-speed gearbox and the V6 engine with its spinning MGU-H

Could it be possible that the new molds of Engine blocks are designed specifically for the MGU-H gearbox? However, it does not sound cost effective for me. One Engine (system) fits for all is the typical philosophy. Would be better if someone explains the mgu-H gearbox and engine setup in sorta/kinda layman's terms here.

MGU-H is an electric motor attached to the turbocharger, when it's in "generate" mode it slows down the turbo to charge the batteries.  It can also use "motor" mode to speed up the turbo if that's necessary. Turbochargers aren't actually geared to the engine, they work on exhaust gas.  So it's 2 separate features of the model - a 2 speed gearbox (looks like 16:16 and 20:12) and a MGU-H that spins with the engine.  I believe the MGU-H is represented by the medium azure 12T gear and small Technic wheels that sit in the V of the engine.

Not sure how the gearbox got mixed up with the MGU-H here, even the marketing material mentions them clearly separately. I agree with @Stereo that the MGU-H is probably just going to be a gear or fan that spins with the motor or with the wheels (if it's not geared to the motor but to the exhaust system).

I wonder if we will get the other panels in inverted form as well as more gearbox speeds in future
