Protagonists:

Name: Nick Wosh
Species: Human
Affiliation: New Republic, Jedi
Objective: -
Background: Nick Wosh has been born during the Clone Wars. Shortly after Order 66, he was picked up by a Jedi Seeker named Boz Ral'Varys and his Padawan Cormane on their last mission to collect and protect the next generation of Jedi Knights. With now Jedi-hunting Clone Troopers on their heels, Boz faked their death and took the six children he picked up into hiding. Boz deployed the children, among them the siblings Tho-Ral and Ramalon, on different planets and - disguised as a traveling salesman - secretly trained them in Jedi arts. Nick was twelve, when his "fathers" visits suddenly ended. Nick forewent the Force and became a freighter pilot. It was not until sometime after the battle of Yavin, when a Rebel agent approached him with an important mission. During the course of events, Nick got his fathers’ lightsaber, met his now best friend droid TJ-13 and fought the former Padawan of Boz – now an agent of Darth Vader. Nick and his friends managed to locate and destroy the new Imperial listening post with codename Dark Sentinel. After that, Nick finished a couple of other missions for the Rebellion and crossed Imperial Viceadmiral Cesco a few times. Last, he has been travelling with his redeemed “brother” Tho-Ral, seeking his lost sister Ramalon…

Trivia: The character Nick Wosh exists since my childhood, being the protagonist of many Lego playing hours. He has been revived 2016, when me and my friends started pen&paper Star Wars RPG. The backstory narrated here took place in this RPG. I’m pleased to import this beloved character now to my Mysteries stories!

Name: Neebrum
Species: Drabatan
Affiliation: New Republic
Objective: Rescuing Nick Wosh
Background: The small Drabatan is one of the children Boz Ral’Varys took into hiding and trained sectretly until he disappeared. Neebrum is no fighter, but she has a strong connection to the Force, helping her to foresee the future.

Trivia: Neebrum is a reoccurring NPC in my pen&paper Star Wars RPG.

Name: Geller
Species: Human
Affiliation: New Republic
Objective: Rescuing Nick Wosh
Background: A soldier and close combat expert. In his early days, he was a separatist mercenary and later turned Rebel.  

Trivia: Geller is a reoccurring NPC in my pen&paper Star Wars RPG.

Name: Cahain
Species: Human
Affiliation: New Republic
Objective: Rescuing Nick Wosh
Background: In younger days he has been a cook on a Trade Federation cruiser. Later he turned separatist and then Rebel. He and Geller are like brothers.   

Trivia: Cahain is a reoccurring NPC in my pen&paper Star Wars RPG.

Name: Iya Qu'an
Species: Human
Affiliation: Fallanassi
Objective: Searching for Jedi
Background: Iya is around 20 standard years old and is member of the Fallanassi, an order adept in using the white current - a synonym for the Force.

Name: Luke Skywalker
Species: Human
Affiliation: New Republic, Jedi
Objective: Luke is on the track of some lost Jedi lightsabers and now investigating some obscure cultists calling themselves Reborn.
Background: No need to introduce Luke. He's the Jedi who destroyed the first Death Star and was involved in the destruction of the second as well. He's a hero and carries the burden of expectations of the whole New Republic.

 

Antagonists:

Name: Viceadmiral Randoll Cesco
Species: Human
Affiliation: Imperial Remnant
Objective: Restore the New Order
Background: Cesco is nicknamed the Emperors Hound or Hound of Hetzal and that is for good reason. He was one of the most efficient hunters of the ISB and feared by his enemies. At some point he was set on the Rebel agent Nick Wosh, but his target escaped and crossed him multiple times. Cesco is currently commanding a fleet of four imperial Star Destroyers and is the patron of the Reborn Dark Jedi program.

Trivia: Cesco is a reoccurring NPC in my pen&paper Star Wars RPG.

Name: Commander Elena Vonreg
Species: Human
Affiliation: Imperial Remnant
Objective: Restore the New Order
Background: Elena is member of the aristrocratic Vonreg family and loyal to the Empire. She sees in Cesco the best fit for a new supreme leader.

Trivia: Elena Vonreg is an original character for Mysteries.  

Name: Tho-Ral Jowns
Species: human
Affiliation: Reborn Empire, Acolytes of the Beyond
Objective: Finding his sister and overthrowing the Rebel Rule
Background: Formerly a Jedi youngling with his twin sister Ramalon, Tho-Ral and her became agents of the Empire and part of the Inquisitorius, some time after the new order took control. To completly break his will, the Emperor presumably gave order to Darth Vader to kill Tho-Rals sister. Tho-Ral learned about her whereabouts from another former youngling named Nick Wosh. After Tho-Ral failed to kill the latter, the two allied and went to search for Ramalon. At some point, this alliance broke and Tho-Ral was consumed by the Dark Side again...

Name: The Doctor, real name unknown
Species: human, modified
Affiliation: Reborn Empire, Acolytes of the Beyond
Objective: Create an army of Reborn Dark Jedi for his new masters
Background: First and foremost, the Doctor is a scientist. More than 20 years ago, he worked on a secret project to infuse 'the Force' into living beings at Mt. Tantiss, lead by director Hemlock. The project got cancelled, but the Doctor survived and travelled the galaxy. At some point he met the Witches of Dathomir, where he learned more about the obscure rite of reviving the dead.  Combining his learnings he offers his knowledge to those daring to go beyond the unspeakable...

Name: Reborn
Species: up to now, encountered human only
Affiliation: Reborn Empire, Acolytes of the Beyond
Objective: Overthrowing the Rebel Rule
Background: The Reborn came out of nowhere, but they use the force, although Luke Skywalker sensed their presence to be kind of 'warped'

Aboard the Imperial Star Destroyer Armageddon, Somewhere near the Taris system.

» You wanted to see me, Grand Admiral Cesco? «

» Ah yes Commander, Vonreg.

And it's Viceadmiral. There is no Emperor left to promote me.

I'm not like the other warlords out there, taking pompous titles to sound more important. «

» Sir… may I ask, is this the Jedi prisoner, everyone is talking about? «

» He’s no Jedi. Merely an annoyance. And after multiple weeks in stasis, he’s more dead than alive. He thought he could trick me, but finally he fell into my hands. «

» Commander: What was the ratio of Rebel ships and the Imperial fleet before the disaster above Endor? «

» I... I don't know, Sir. «

» More than 1:1000!

And what is it now? «

» I'm not sure, Sir... Is this a test of some kind? «

» 1:10. My point is the Empire could still crush the Rebellion easily. But it is lacking unity.

All these warlords, they are stockpiling resources. They are distrustfully looking at each other in malevolence. We are watching the Rebels taking us out, one by one! They are even daring to celebrate their victories in a gala!

We are no Empire no more. We are a thousand pathetic little Empires dying a thousand deaths! «

» Sir, why can't you be our leader? You have these Reborn and the Apocalyptic Fleet under your control... «

» Good question, Commander, I could. However, I'm more useful on the battlefield, rather than in politics. There are plenty little Imperial cells with control over one cruiser or a garrison. They are useless. But there are also some bigger fish out there. Isard, Moff Pandion, Captain Paelleon, Comissar Rax, Moffs Kaas and Bradwyn... We would need to bring them all to one table; to decide about the fate of the Empire.

And then there is your family... «

» I'm loyal to the Empire. So is my family. «

» How about Baron Vonreg himself? He supports the rebellion now, I heard. That is high treason. «

» I assure you, my uncle is loyal to the Empire. «

» I hope for your sake that is the case, Commander, because it's your duty now to organize a little meeting. And I expect the Baron to host it, at Castle Vonreg… «

 

Sometime later, the prisoner is left alone in his never ending agony...

 

But suddenly...

 

 

 

» Room secured! «

» Trrt-proop-brrraat! «

» Yes, TJ-13. We finally found your friend. «

 

» Whtshppninningggnnhh… «

» Just relax for a moment. You're free of the energy field. Shh. You have stasis sickness. … «

» N-N-Neebrum?! Isthaty-y-you?  Ican’t m-m-m-move… «

» Your body control will return in time. Now we have to bring you outta here, Nick Wosh... «

Another great addition to the series! The pose of poor Nick Wosh in stasis looks so good and he shows the fitting expression on his face. The light really adds to the scene!

I also like the door design and floor detailing. There are just enough gaps and cracks in the floor for the good guys to crawl through

Hiding Vice Admiral Cesco's golden shoulder bars with a fur collar was creative!

This is a great little build, some awsome techniques and story as well. I have always liked adding some sort of light feature to my bricks when I had them...nice posing.

There is a backstory for the Shadow Guard I may have opportunity to narrate at some point.

This little fella exists as a figure and character for a very long time. Dating back to my childhood, he's been already the partner of Nick Wosh.
