As her fingers brushed its surface, warmth spread through her, and the crystal pulsed in response to the purity of her heart. In that moment, the darkness melted away, and she knew she had found the hope she sought." ... And our tale has come to an end! Quote
Kai NRG Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 Finally, I've been dying to see what went on that poor lonely light grey jumper! This finishes off the scene really well. Great job with the design, it's such a unique way to present a MOC piecemeal like that and I'm super impressed by how well you did it, every bit had something interesting in it. Quote
GeoBrick Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 Congrats on a story well-brought, Aurore. Very inventive, with twists and turns in how you brought the chapters and depicted the scenes. Quote
zoth33 Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 Looks great so far. The little forest scene is quite lovely and all the wildlife really bring it to life. Quote
Aurore Posted December 21, 2024 Author Posted December 21, 2024 @Kai NRG Thank you so much! It was a challenge to have something interesting for each day, I’m so glad you think it worked! @GeoBrick Thank you so much! This calendar required a lot of planning to write the story and identify every build, but it was definitely worth it... @zoth33 Thank you very much! It has been a lot of fun to gather all these little fairy folk! Quote
T-86(swe) Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 I have followed every step of the calender! I haven’t had the opportunity (nor memory-space in my brain it appears) to comment on the progress this far though! An excellent calender for many reasons: Creative idea, well built and builds that really draws you in. Really looking forward to the last parts of the calender!!! Thank you again for throwing this great tradition @Aurore👏👍 Quote

Aurore Posted December 22, 2024 Author Posted December 22, 2024 Day 22 : Back to Embervale Alrune - "That's all? The story felt unfinished. The crystal, the storm, the girl—there are too many unanswered questions." Dresghar - "Tonight is the Winter Solstice. The longest night, and the promise that light will return. That’s what we celebrate, Darling: not an end, but the hope of what’s to come." Spoiler Quote
Aurore Posted December 23, 2024 Author Posted December 23, 2024 (edited) Day 23 : Presents Alrune - "You make the Solstice sound so symbolic and serious..." Dresghar - "Because it is. And it is also a good excuse for gifts, wine, and merriment!" Spoiler Edited December 23, 2024 by Aurore Quote
GeoBrick Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 "World's best boss"? I'm quite fond of the way you put those wall elements up where the lyre retsts. Quote
Kai NRG Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 Really nice curves inside the arch on the wall. Great collection of gifts too, can't go wrong with a best boss mug Quote
Aurore Posted December 24, 2024 Author Posted December 24, 2024 @GeoBrick & @Kai NRG Thank you! I’m glad you like the wall, something ornate was needed...For the gifts, I had a lot of fun imagining who offered what to whom. @Eyrezer got it right on Flickr for the mug! Quote
