Max_Lego Posted November 29, 2024 Posted November 29, 2024 The speeder bike from Star Wars Episode 6: Return of the Jedi needs no special introduction. The dual-molded arms are a must for the Scout Trooper minifigure. Quote
Yperio_Bricks Posted November 29, 2024 Posted November 29, 2024 Looks great! I really like the body of the speeder bike. Is the trooper's upper half held in place by the arms/handles? The posing looks very good! Only the front with the L shaped plates looks maybe a bit too blocky? Though i have no idea which parts to choose at this scale. It's always hard. Quote

Yes, you're absolutely right - the trooper's upper half is held in position thanks to him holding the controls. 2 minutes ago, Yperio_Bricks said: Only the front with the L shaped plates looks maybe a bit too blocky? I think smooth L tiles would've been better, but I cannot replace as of now If I ever improve my MOC, I shall post it here! Quote
Sentinel_Brix Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 A great little moc you have here, Max! The minifig placing with the stretched legs is well solved. I especially like the proportions of figure and bike here. The dual molded arms are indeed an upgrade. You should integrate the bike for one of your Mysteries stories to score points! Quote

But honestly, I am now quite disappointed with the dual-molded arms. I now think that black arms with white decor would've been better. 7 minutes ago, Sentinel_Brix said: You should integrate the bike for one of your Mysteries stories to score points! As a background build, probably... Entries for the Mysteries contest should be new builds, right? Quote

I meant that they should be new, built exclusively for the Mysteries challenge, not posted anywhere before. But I know those rules aren't too strict to follow, nevertheless, I shall try to build mostly new entries Quote
