Hadn't thought about GWPs. While they're live they often have an RRP ascribed on LEGO.com, but I don't know if anyone records that information since they're never actually sold.

Which GWP were you thinking?

I was mainly thinking about 40712 Micro Rocket Launchpad but also a few others. I would think they would be in the small category just by their shear size.

I think 40712 scrapes in at the top end of the small category, yeah.

I was also thinking about this, looking at the sets I have around the house. They are allowed, it's just a question of which category they land in?

For me, I am thinking about 40700 ( https://brickset.com/sets/40700-1/Winter-Holiday-Train )

All creations must be new for this contest and never before posted anywhere online.

If I post my new MOCs/contest entries here,  and also in other sites online (like facebook, youtube, my own blog). Will this be allowed?

I built alternate creations from official LEGO sets frequently and post video tutorials online on how to build them.

Yep you're free to post it wherever as long as it's new for this contest.

Hey, three questions.

#1 concerning sticker placement. Do stickers have to be on the exact same way as the original model, or can I place them wherever, given that they came from that set (context is that I got a set for the contest specifically, and placed the stickers in a different way)

#2 what topic would I put an alt build for a speed champions car? Would it be Lego town?

#3 do I have to be good at photography or can I just take a picture of my alt build sitting on a shelf?

#1 Stickers placed as intended would probably be more in the spirit of a traditional alt-build, but that's fine to apply them differently as long as they aren't modified (i.e. cut up).

#2 Yep Speed Champions goes in Town

#3 The contest isn't judged on photography, but your model is judged on aesthetics so make sure your photos are as clean and clear as possible so the judges will be able to see your work properly.

For this particular contest every entry can only be built from one set, sorry!

Follow up hail-mary- would this count as one set?

No. That's a multipack of individual sets.

LEGO has done many thousands of sets. I know everyone is limited by what they have (not suggesting anyone should buy anything for the contest), but there's really plenty of choice out there!
