Yes, Kawasaki Ninja (has also green clutch 20 tooth gear) is IMHO mid size set / mid price range... Bush plane is real nice set; lots of gears, usefull parts like thin liftarms, panels and on top of it new liftarm 9 studs long with altetnate pin holes. Edited December 6, 2024Dec 6 by 1gor
December 5, 2024Dec 5 Made some more progress on the plane with the help of the part inventory. I'm 99% confident about the build. Same link as before for the Studio file.

Even for me as a native speaker, these German parts names are quite strange ("Schnapper"...). Furthermore, they are often far away from the more or less accepted nomenclature used e.g. in this forum or on bricklink.com To make things worse, the names obviously weren't checked for basal correctness before made public ("Panel" vs. "Paneel", "Buchse" vs. "Busche", "Rotorblad"...). Well my google for some reason shows me first the german page and not the finnish page so it was faster to go to the german website to take these pictures and i dont personally speak german or understand german:)
December 11, 2024Dec 11 @Auroralampinen Was about to post the same. P.S. I corrected my Studio model. I think LEGO counts the sticker sheet as a part nowadays because I have exactly 332.
December 11, 2024Dec 11 The subject matter (prop plane), simple but effective functions, and zebra stripe decals all combined give me a lot of 90s Lego nostalgia. Feels like if Islanders, Outback, and 90s Technic had a baby.

December 26, 2024Dec 26 Wouldn't it be cool to test if it flies by throwing it out the window (just saying...)
December 26, 2024Dec 26 It's interesting to know that it would have been so easy to add separate flaps and ailerons, would have left less of a glaring hole in the back of the wing as well, but I guess they did not due it to simplify play, too many posable parts may get complicated as well maybe. A bigger pity is that it does not have a rudder on the tail, that's kind of a more well known piece even for kids. I guess it would have been difficult to solve it while having a good looking shape as well, but yet another example where a 6L beam would have simplified things :) Actually the 6L half beam exists in white..
December 26, 2024Dec 26 @Unbrickme Here are the functions/fixes you wanted this set to have: 42198_flap-fix.io Maybe a bit unorthodox connection, but it should work irl. Edited December 26, 2024Dec 26 by R0Sch

January 2Jan 2 Well i did do a little modification to the bush plane because im left handed and this model was designed for right handed peoples so i had to switch the gear rack and now it is working perfectly for left handed peoples:)
January 12Jan 12 I composed a simple rudder setup for the tail: For me it is not necessary to have a fixpoint at the lower end: I have also reduced the unsightly hole in the wings by adding a 1/2 beam (7M) to the 'flaps':
