cyberdyne systems Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 Hi, everyone. This is just a Speed Champions style model of Mitsubishi Lancer X 2009. For some reason, everyone makes Evo version of this car. I, instead, opted for a standard version which you encounter on everyday roads. In fact, this is a model of one particular car, which I know really well. Hence, the choice of colour and rims. Also, because of colour, I sourced a lot of parts from Mustang Dark Horse set. Which you too may use, if you want to build Lancer for yourself. Interesting note. The hardest part to do was not the front but the rear. As I wanted for rear lights to be triangle on the sides. Here is an instruction, if needed: https://reb.li/m/203105 Quote
ILoveSeatron Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 Nice car! It looks like a Lego set! Great job! Quote
Max_Lego Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 Looks very nice. I wonder if it's possible to recreate it out of physical parts... Quote

It was the main goal in creating this model. Also, I always keep it in mind and build-check my virtual models. P.S. Diagonal tiles on the front part are sticking out due to incorrect placement of headlight bricks inside. Correct one has already been added to the instructions. Quote
Max_Lego Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 Congratulations, @cyberdyne systems! Looks great despite the tiles sticking out on the front Quote
