Ouch. If that isn't proof positive the DC theme is dead, I don't know what is.

Wow that sucks, really just wanted at least one Superman movie set even if it was basic superman and lex. Wonder if Arkham is Animated series based will this batcave be or will they both be comic based. All I ask is for an Alfred to be included

Very disappointed about the lack of Superman sets. I guess the mech was the tie-in?

Hopefully the Batcave means a bit more budget for new minifigures.

New Batcave sounds good. I definitely expect it will help boost the number of figures in the Arkham set. I’m curious to see whether they’re both comic based or BtAS based.

No Superman sets isn’t a surprise. We’ve known that for weeks now. Still disappointing.

$100 is just enough for a new batman adventures batcomputer, suit rack and inevitable batmobile with nba batgirl

"Comic based" I would expect to be some hodge podge of designs

76305 and 76306 are both still unaccounted for. I wonder if we might be getting some more Batman sets thrown in there. Or maybe even a comic based Superman set (movie sets were ruled out but not Superman sets in general (I am coping)).

I looked at the skies
Running my hands over my eyes
And I fell out of bed
Hurting my head from things that I'd said
'Til I finally died
Which started the whole world living
Oh, if I'd only seen, oh yeah
That the joke was on me, oh no
That the joke was on me
Oh, no, no, no

I called this, but I don't want to say "I told you so". Buy the mech, guys. It is our last and only hope, and even then it may not be enough, but for all we know it'll be the final set in the wider DC universe.

We lost big time. Turtle won in the end. There will be no superman sets flying off shelves like a Bee. I’m kinda sad now.

Turtle even came around in the end and it wasn't enough to save us.

Just absurd and mind-boggling. I don't even care about the film personally but I can't understand how LEGO and WB wouldn't mutually agree to support DC's supposed cinematic relaunch with a strong assortment of toys to build excitement.

And it's just sad what's become of LEGO's DC offering over the years.

I think the mech WAS lego's idea of a supported assortment of toys, which is if anything even more damning. The start of the DCU (I mean, not really, because of how weirdly they're handling this, but I've beat that horse to death already), assumably some pressure from DC/WB to put SOMETHING out, and they give us... a mech.

If the two remaining summer sets end up being as badly handled as the rest of the theme, I say that a week or two after they release, Cloneopatra should restart the Aslume.

If not even Superman can get any sets, it‘s truly over. We‘re stuck with Batman for all eternity

I mean to be fair I imagine the movie is why we have the mech, but the same general concept applies. I understand it on some level- they've been burned before, and I fully get wanting to make sure this movie doesn't also end up failing- but we should have at least gotten a few comic-based sets. Just like a larger Luthor mech, a javelin or something, anything. Even if it's just putting some Superman characters into bat-vehicle sets.

just bedazzled. I guess the Marvel nerds in the lego team got there way again.

You had to say it.

I think this is the 2nd time I said something like a possible set that turned out to be true, what are the chances, I'm going to predict something now, Joker,Mr Freeze and Harley in the Batcave

they don't have history of appearing in previous batcave sets.  I'm curious in which theme the batcave and asylum will be based on. BAS,  comic or Lego's own deign

I really don't think Lego has it in them to make villains other than those 3 in a retail set these days, I hope the Arkham is comic based with lots of references to the Arkham Games

A print with the blue bat shape to represent the explosive gel would be cool

the variety they have for Batman is the best of the best,  yet they choose these everytime.  at least introduce 1 new MF yearly. my gut tells me BAS for both the batcave and Arkham and throw in a bat vehicle for good measure.  real shame no Superman sets. I mean is there any more more sets coming for DC?

I find it ironic how WB really needs the new DCU to succeed, but when it comes to their most important movie, they don't push the most prominent merchandise partner to make products based on that movie.

Like... how incompetent do you have to be? I'm not gonna pretend I know all the internal mechanics of LEGO and WB, but not even a single set...

Hey hey.

The Goat said no retail sets. So it might get a Lego exclusive set, or something like that. Retailer exclusives have previously blindsided us before.

Rebellions are built on hope and I'm not giving mine up just yet. (And we'll always have Supermech)

You may throw rocks at me, but I'm not disappointed in the lack of Superman sets - I just wish the Batcave is decent, no matter what it's based on (yet B:TAS Batcave would be VERY welcome for me, especially if the infamous TNBA Batgirl is included). The price suggests that it's not a Shadowbox

Is Lego Marvel dying together with Lego DC? The only decent set for me is the Spider-Verse one, the rest are plain weird IMHO. Even if it is, that's not good for Lego DC
