$100 is just enough for a new batman adventures batcomputer, suit rack and inevitable batmobile with nba batgirl

"Comic based" I would expect to be some hodge podge of designs

Not gonna lie if this was the set, it would be an 8/10 for me add new adventures ivy or supergirl and would be a 10

You may throw rocks at me, but I'm not disappointed in the lack of Superman sets - I just wish the Batcave is decent, no matter what it's based on (yet B:TAS Batcave would be VERY welcome for me, especially if the infamous TNBA Batgirl is included). The price suggests that it's not a Shadowbox

Is Lego Marvel dying together with Lego DC? The only decent set for me is the Spider-Verse one, the rest are plain weird IMHO. Even if it is, that's not good for Lego DC

I love Batman more so I'm not really disappointed. but it is a shame

Ooh, that might explain why 76305 and 76306 are still unaccounted for. Maybe they’re sets for The Batman II.

Is the Batcave all that’s left for the year,  or could there be more sets?

Definitely not, as the movie has been postponed to October 2026 and it‘s not even clear yet if it‘ll ready by then

Superman sets are one thing—but if we don't get sets for Supergirl (and I know we won't), I will be twice as mad.

Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is currently my favourite comicbook ever, and I would literally kill someone to get Krem of the Yellow Hills and Ruthye.

I hope that one day (if the new DCU proves a success) LEGO will decide to revisit the first DCU projects. Better late than never.

No arguing the direction the Superheroes theme has taken as of late isn’t the best.

I keep telling myself that by the time Lego needs to start planning and designing sets for The Batman 2, they’ll have saved up enough pocket money to consider making a dedicated cowl and armour mould for a Battinson figure.

I find it odd that Lego decided to make a Superman mech and call it a day rather than produce at least one relatively small tie-in set for the upcoming film with a couple of the main characters.

Maybe the reason the superhero figures are lacking the same love as years ago is because the theme is declining in sales ? that Winter Soldier arm with no print makes me so mad, years ago there was love, now it's just corporate greed and laziness, A figure from 2016 gets arm printing but a 2025 one doesn't ? wtf, sets from 2006-2016 had more love and quality, more figures in expensive sets, and there was no budget excuse either, Idk it just feels like Lego has become more corporate, it never felt this way before

Modern times ruin everything, I wish I could go back to 2009

Lego's original themes were so cool and made sense, Agents,Fantasy Era,Space Police,Power Miners,Atlantis and now we get newer themes which feel stupid and modernized like Hidden Side,Nexo Knights and Dreamzzz, just proves Lego's own themes were better back in the early 2000's

Sure, but that delay wasn’t announced until March of this year. Lego sets typically take 1 - 2 years to develop. If the set numbers are assigned early on in the process, I don’t think it’s inconceivable to think Lego could have assigned those numbers for The Batman II sets and then delayed their production to match the films new release date.

It certainly seems odd that Lego would skip two set numbers like that. I know in the past, they’ve skipped over set numbers. But never two in a row like that, at least not that I’m aware of.

That's still 19 months before the movie was supposed to release.

The sets are not made that early—at that point the script barely existed, and no new characters have been cast.

Batcave needs to have Robin or we’ll riot.

If it’s based on the Nolan trilogy I am going to march on Billund.

Oh no. OH PLEASE NO! Why did you suggest this...

I think this is the 2nd time I said something like a possible set that turned out to be true, what are the chances, I'm going to predict something now, Joker,Mr Freeze and Harley in the Batcave

STOP PREDICTING THINGS YOU ARE CAUSING THEM TO BECOME A REALITY

(Please predict Mara Jade battle pack)

The difference is that despite it's quality issues, marvel regularly gets large amounts of sets based on a variety of heroes, with a number of new outfits and characters every wave. I think our last new DC characters came in the CMF in 2021.

There is a nonzero chance lego decides that that part of the franchise is too adult what with Penguin and stuff. (which isn't super logical- I'd say The Batman was about the same maturity level as Dune or TDK, but at this point we have to prepare for the worst)

Wish granted, it comes with Robin Blake.

The Goat said no retail sets. So it might get a Lego exclusive set, or something like that. Retailer exclusives have previously blindsided us before.

By Rau, why the despair, comrades? This theme started with a Superman vs Lex mech set, a Batcave, and an Arkham Asylum. I'd say this is a suitable recycling. A Rebirth, if you will.

That's outrageous! That's... fair (your point, not the situation).

I currently think if we're getting an 400$ Arkham and 100$ Batcave next year, Lego DC is still alive.

...And if you dew it, I shall join you in your heroic quest to bring TLG to justice. A Nolan Batcave is the last thing we need. Even if it has a Robin Blake minifigure. A decent Ledger Joker minifigure, on the other hand, may change my mind...

DC is dying. Too bad its classics aren't cult enough for TLG to produce full lines of sets, based on them. They are more nostalgia than cult, actually...

Batcave? I thought that was the train station from Harry Potter.

The Batcave we didn't need, but the Batcave we deserved...

Not to mention that the Batmobile is now an old, rusty muscle car

Late to the party on the news, and now realise that party is the wrong word. Wake, maybe. Is it too late to reconsider the direction of this thread @Clone OPatra? It's already proven difficult for some to maintain their composure, and we all need to admit that the 'cave and Arkham need to be stellar for this particular train to stay on track. Wibble.

And it looks like the coolest Batmobile ever.

(Even though West's and Keaton's have more sauce, I think Battinson's fits the movie perfectly. It's also featured in easily the coolest Batmobile scene ever.)

New Batcave sounds good. I definitely expect it will help boost the number of figures in the Arkham set. I’m curious to see whether they’re both comic based or BtAS based.

Hopefully BtAS, since despite LEGO’s love of Batman, we have barely gotten anything from that goldmine of a show (at least, not since the original Batman theme)!

I would actually be OK with a TDK trilogy Batcave, as long as we get some new Minifigs (Ra’s, Gordon, Bane, Catwoman, maybe Talia or a new Scarecrow) and a Batpod!
The question is whether it would be based on BB/TDKR (a more traditional Batcave design) or TDK (minimalist and not a traditional design, but more recognisable as specifically a Nolan Batcave). 🤔

Apparently there’s no Marvel advent calendar next year. With the sudden influx of figures we’ll be getting from Arkham and the Batcave could it be possible that there’ll be a Batman advent calendar instead?

No Supes sets, but an AC? Not exactly a slap in the face, but that would feel pretty wrong. That said, I don't think DC is a big enough theme at the moment to event warrant an AC. Minecraft and Jurassic World both have a better case, based on the far superior number of yearly sets alone!
