Unbelievable. Every new look at this movie will make me even more devastated.

Boy, I can’t wait to see what Lego has in store for us this summer. Hopefully a full wave of sets for this movie. They’d be stupid not to put out at least three.

Wait I thought there weren't going to be anymore Superman sets this year? Was that  false rumor?

I think the post you're replying to is meant to be sarcastic.

Imagine If we get 3 LEGO DC Mechs in 2026 (that would probably mean we wouldn't get any Marvel ones given how there are 3 mechs per year), with each one being a loosely based tie in to a DCU Project coming that year:

(Clayface movie): A new Batman Mech (that's grey and blue with the Minifigs being the Blue and Grey suit Batman and Clayface)

(HBO Lanterns): A Green Lantern Mech (Minifigs being Hal and John)

(Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow) A Supergirl mech (Minifigs being Supegirl and Lobo)

I know this would be quite far from now, but still, I think this could be a legit possibility if the Superman mech sells well.

It's sad that we're at the point where someone says "Guys what if we got three DC mechs in 2026" and my first thought is "wow I envy your optimism"

But that aside, the superman set would not only have to do crazy bonkers well for lego to fast-track production of those sets (and potentially cancel the marvel ones, as you say), but

A: Lego would have to assume that success lay more with the DCU film than the fact that we haven't had a superman in forever and he's one of the three most popular DC characters

and B: Lego decides the logical follow-up is more DCU mechs, rather than other mechs for major leaguers like WW/Flash/etc.

I also think a supergirl mech is pretty unlikely regardless as it'd be the same colors and general idea. Even Iron Man and spider-man don't get a mech set EVERY year, and they're much more popular at the moment than any kryptonian.

Sorry to sort of stomp all over your dream here, but I don't want people getting false hopes up. I'd consider a GL mech a present surprise at this point. Hell, I'd be ecstatic if Barry or Diana MINIFIGS showed up in a set somewhere.

Ohhh I actually like that Superman poster!

LOL, you're all good! It was just a thought that occurred to me, but yeah, Imagine telling someone 10 years ago that $15 Mechs would be the thing that excites us about LEGO DC.

I do feel like we'll at least get 1 DC Mech in 2026 that's loosely based on a DCU thing coming out that year (I'm hoping for GL), but only time will tell.

I did think a Supergirl mech and a Superman mech could both co-exist, just like how the War Machine mech and the new Iron Mech will, but now that you mention it, A Supergirl Mech would be VERY similar to the Superman Mech we have. What works about having both War Machine and Iron Man mechs on shelves are that they both have different colors to represent their mechs. Superman and Supergirl would have the exact same colors lol.

I want a GL mech as much as, maybe even more than, you. But I’m running out of hope.

These words you type, we can use them! Combine them.

Lantern + Mech + Hope = Saint Walker Mech?!!!?!!!?!??!???

Too late my hopes are always up and running, likelihood be damed.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mechs became 20$

You do know Lego reads these boards, right? Don't give them any ideas!

You leave me no choice, brother. Your location and crimes have been provided to Mara Jade, several Blacktron agents, and the Bat himself. May God have mercy upon your soul.

Yeah, but it has a whole extra minifigure! And a tiny little bat signal!

I watched the Superman trailer.

Gunn’s cooking. Lego appears to have really dropped the ball on this one. This is shaping up to be the peak of DC movies in the last decade…

Guy’s costume still looks bad. There’s also a lot of Snyder inspiration by the looks of it.

All in all. My hype levels are up.

I'm crying, how is this not getting any sets? So many characters in a first teaser, and they have a literal kaiju?

LEGO's decision is beyond my ability to comprehend it.

I watched the Superman trailer. They absolutely dropped the ball here. And by them, I mean Lego. Gunn and co cooked fr.

Trailer looks good, which is a relief because the teaser looked like a CW show.

Ridiculous ridiculous ridiculous. In a scale of 9/11s, this like at least... five for me, I think.

The forum could've been focused on getting hyped about a Superman set, but now until July (and after) it's just going to be filled with people like me, fully in pain.
