Sold Out on Naboo

Having spent years as an Intelligence Officer, Captain Screed had managed to cultivate a number of useful contacts throughout the galaxy. These sources of information, although far from loyal, served as valuable assets, particularly in the new chaotic and unpredictable post Imperial period. One such informant was a Spice Trader, Tak Fordo, who had taken up residence on Naboo following the fall of the Empire. In an attempt to reconnect with other wayward Imperials, Screed felt the homeworld of the slain Emperor was a good place to begin his search. However, upon making contact with Fordo, he quickly learned that not only was this search going to be more difficult than he had originally believed, but his efforts under the Empire had not gone unnoticed and the New Republic had put a decent bounty on his head.

After fighting off the New Republic forces sent to take him into custody, Screed and his Stormtroopers successfully returned to their ship. As they took off, he thought about where they should go next in their continuing search for fellow imperials. As he watched the blue and green planet of Naboo shrinking into the distance, a memory of an imprisoned defector from the time of the empire came back to him. His pilot asked “Where to, Captain?” Screed replied “Coruscant.”

Looks very beautiful! The architecture of Theed is very nicely captured. Great job!

How could the New Republic troops infiltrate an Imperial world unnoticed while wearing their distinctive uniforms? I know that the Empire's security measures are bad, but... it's somehow wrong, isn't it?

Also, Captain Screed may be an Intelligence officer, but why is he heading to Coruscant? Are the New Republic's defences equally bad (or even worse) as the Empire's?

No offence here, I'm just curious :classic:

Hello @A_Goodman and welcome (back) to the game! :pir-triumph:

You recreated the architecture and mood of Theed perfectly! I admired it already in the M4-24 contest- there in another era. Maybe you can still apply for 2x points for using it here

I really like your imperial team and the little variances in the stormtroopers' armor. The ISB officer looks cool too!

You picked good angles to show the surprise of the imperials, when suddenly Republic troopers arrive.

@Max_Lego is a bit strict here. In one of his last builds he showed that Naboo is under a firm imperial rule of Moff Panaka . I don't mind if the Republic team is looking distinctive.

And although per game rules L9 is under Light Side Control, I assume Coruscant to be still under Imperial rule, be it Isard under the legends canon we follow (loosly) here, or under Grand Vizier Amedda in the new canon.

@A_Goodman you were probably not considring an imperial world, but if it were so, I'd love to see if there were any signs of "imperial influence" on the architecture of Theed

All in all, great you decided to contribute here and keep up the great work. I'd love to see how your story unfolds.

Thanks for clarifying, @Sentinel_Brix! Too bad I didn't know that Coruscant is still an Imperial world (which somehow makes sense) and is ruled by Amedda (I prefer him to Isard - the closest person to Papa Palps, after all). Rax should've contacted him!

Honestly, I don't think that Theed needs any 'Imperial influence', since it's already a beautiful city with little free space. :vader: Besides, I am sure Theed is a place of historical heritage, and adding something new to it would be against the law

Thank you so very much! and no offense taken whatsoever, Im very new to the story and am still trying to get a sense of it. I will say I'm very glad to learn the overarching story is legends, I was operating under the assumption it was disney canon, hence New Republic dominated Naboo, and a chaotic Coruscant. Im very happy to be a part of the story!

I greatly Appreciate it and I am very glad to be back! That was one of my major questions, I read we can build in any grid controlled by our chosen faction and we can earn points for our faction. But can we build on planets controlled by other factions or that are unaffiliated and receive no points? Thank you so much for the help and I am very excited to continue my story.

My personal opinion is, that the Mysteries universe anyway sets its own continuity as we do fan fiction here and do not only rebuild events from the legends storyline. So I'd say enjoy adding your own story where you can use elements of both. Maybe others see it more strict, Idk :shrug_oh_well:

Of course, it's an RPG, so you may react to events and actions from other players' builds. That's part of the fun :sweet:

You can place your build in any square your side has access to: Could be a new square adjacent to a square already under full control of your faction, or it could a square that is accessible via one of the major hyperlanes. Your team would need to control at least one square on such a route to use it.

There is a map to work with here.

A grid square is locked by one team if its score there is equal or greater than 100 points. Check out the current map

I have to add, it is not forbidden to build in a square that is challenged by another team.
