After watching Red One a couple of days ago in the movie theater I noticed that many movies and tv series feature brief cameos of Lego sets. In that movie a lot of sets were visible in a German toy store. When I was a kid I really enjoyed Sunes Jul, a Sveriges Television Christmas calendar TV series. A copy of 6933 Spectral Starguider is visible in several episodes. It is first seen being bought in a store along with other Lego sets and then opened as a Christmas present in the last episode I linked above, it is visible at 14:51 in the video.

I remember seeing 6949 Robo Guardian in a Danish TV series where a kid is playing with it, I think it was Anna Pihl but it could also have been Forbrydelsen.

Do you have more observations of Lego sets in movies or in television?

Just saw Red One last night and also noticed the Lego.

@SpacePolice89 You do know that Storage Wars show is totally faked, right? A few ex-employees / 'buyers' have said so. (just saying)

 

As for LEGO in films and Tv, there was a film a decade ago you may have heard of? It's called the Lego Movie...

I can think of at least five off the top of my head: The Lego Movie, The Lego Movie 2, The Lego Ninjago Movie, The Lego Batman Movie, and The Adventures of Clutch Powers

I was thinking about Lego stuff featuring in other movies. Of course there are many movies and shows about Lego but that is very obvious and everyone knows about those. And regarding Storage Wars, it doesn't matter if it is real or fake, the main thing is that they featured some very cool sets in unopened boxes.

It was a joke. But in all seriousness, The Big Bang Theory has featured Lego sets or mentioned Lego several times. Heck, the night / morning after Sheldon's marriage to Amy takes place at the LEGOLAND Hotel!

Infamously, Ned drops the LEGO Death Star when he finds out that Peter is Spider-Man in Spider-Man: Homecoming: Link.

Also, in the boss fight towards the end of the 1981 film Time Bandits, there are oversized LEGO pieces. They may also appear as normal sized bricks earlier in the film but I don't recall. It's been years since I saw it. Great film by the way.

The movie It has a flaw : it shows a Lego turtle made of green basic bricks. But it that time period the color green was not available for basic bricks.

You did a fantastic job with that list! Maybe this thread should be merged into the original one because I didn't know about it's existence before your post?  

I remember watching Disney Channel tv how called Even Steven’s nd I noticed that main character playing with a Bioncile set in early 2000s. 

Series 2 of Abbot Elementary has just finished in the UK.  In one episode, Gregory bought the Flower bouquet as a present for his girlfriend.  She did not like it!

A regular panellist on the BBC News "The Context", has many Lego Ideas set in the background of her room/office.

Lego Architecture featured as a question in the game show "Tenable".  The question was to name 10 landmarks that appeared in the London and New York skyline sets.
