Built in December 2024 for the Alt-Build Contest, I turned this 4192 Fountain of Youth into a sturdy SWAMP MECH.

In the first picture, you see all pieces used (trampled pirates):

Also, the tilted perspective gives the mech a feel of motion.

In picture number two, you see the mech from unterneath.

I chose this set because I wanted to see what can be achieved with virtually no SNOT bricks, no joints, no hinges etc. provided.

OMG... That's definitely something! So many creative ways to combine parts into a mech... As you said, without any SNOT! Your entry to the contest is the most creative among all of them, IMAO. I hope the judges will share my opinion! Congratulations! :thumbup:

Now that's definitely something I'd expect to see on the back of an old LEGO box!

That set would've been a challenge to work with for sure, but just goes to show... anything can be a mech!
