What panels? I thought that was just the air exhaust of the vehicle? 
The craft gives alot of Star Wars vibes though. Nicely done.

I was inspired by the landspeeders etc. from Star Wars. Although I've never watched it, I've seen the Lego sets from it, and that was inspiration enough.
