CDKiii Posted December 22, 2024 Posted December 22, 2024 Gentlemen, I found this technic on youtube: https://youtu.be/WP-sarffR7c?si=xacEdwe4AyOcV5NK The photo transfert. It seems promising. Before i invest in a laser printer, is someone here who tested it? It seems to give nice results without waterslide decal nor uv print. Thanks. Quote
JopieK Posted December 22, 2024 Posted December 22, 2024 Looks very nice indeed! Without breaking the bank (I watched it again and saw he used acrylic white paint for part of it, great trick). Quote
MAB Posted January 3 Posted January 3 It's not a new technique. I tried it years ago and the results are no better than waterslide decals or stickers. The transfer is still quite thick and needs to be cut neatly, so has the same downsides as the other techniques. On large objects, this and similar techniques work fine. But as parts become small, then the flaws are much more noticeable as you tend to look more closely. Quote
