Kaijumeister Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Makes sense to time the release of the F4 set closer to the film’s debut, can’t wait to see how it looks. With all the hints we’ve been getting over the past week, I’m more excited for Marvel’s summer wave at this point than I am for Star Wars. Fingers crossed we get a set list soon. Quote

upliftingbricks Posted January 10 Posted January 10 r/legoleak reports this about the FF minifigs "All have something to make them stand out (hands for Ben, etc)" Im so glad we aren't getting the classic handless Ben Quote

I was hoping for comics. Interesting that they all have something, basically confirms mid-invisibility Sue. Whoever said we might not get a single normal torso appears to be right. I do hope we get a comic set soon with a bigfig thing. Quote

Legocentrico Posted January 10 Posted January 10 I hope it has a uniform body and translucent pieces to simulate its energy :p Quote
RobRose200 Posted January 12 Posted January 12 So like take this with a grain of salt, it could mean anything, but someone on the brick tap discord posted an image of the explore the spiderverse encyclopaedia, then a photo of anew symbiote spider man figure. I think they're hinting symbiote spider man is the exclusive fig in the book. Quote
THELEGOBATMAN Posted January 12 Posted January 12 The stretchy-arms torso is coming back for Luffy in the One Piece sets—I think it's fair to assume that they'll kill two birds with one stone using it also for Reed. Quote

oxy220 Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Hello everyone. Since we know some information about the Marvel 2025 Summer Sets, what do you think they will be? Quote
THELEGOBATMAN Posted January 12 Posted January 12 4 minutes ago, oxy220 said: Hello everyone. Since we know some information about the Marvel 2025 Summer Sets, what do you think they will be? Right now there's a helmet, a 4+ set, four sets in the 200–400 piece range, and two wild cards. Helmet could be Green Goblin if LEGO is going all out with Sony's Spider-Man movies sets (that would actually be really cool). One of them is the Doc Ock train fight from Spider-Man 2, and at least one more is based on a Sony Spider-Man movie. Apart from that, who knows. Quote
Buckethead Posted January 12 Posted January 12 5 hours ago, oxy220 said: Hello everyone. Since we know some information about the Marvel 2025 Summer Sets, what do you think they will be? We know Fantastic Four, Endgame Battle, and an Iron Man armory. Rumors mentioned a helmet diorama and a Raimi Spider-Man 2 train set. Two of the set numbers are 10+ and 12+, which are usually reserved for large vehicles or scene depictions (like the A-Force set or the Age of Ultron set from this past year). My speculation is that we get a Winter Soldier set and potentially more Raimi Spider-Man sets (if Lego wants to make more No Way Home or Raimi Spider-Man sets, it would be great to get a Sandman Minifigure and Green Goblin in his original Raimi suit). Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted January 12 Posted January 12 Obviously not gonna happen, but I‘d prefer a majority of the summer sets to be based on the Sony movies (i.e., ITSV, ATSV, Raimi trilogy, ASM duology) While I still enjoy the Infinity Saga sets, they‘ve kinda run out of steam since they keep circling back to the same movies, with some notable exceptions. I‘d be more excited about them if more of those were like the Surtur set! Quote

Normally I'd want anything that gives us new characters or special variants but the Raimi train scene is so iconic I don't mind that. I wonder if they'd do special arm molds for holding the webs to stop the train. Doubt it but could be fun. A giant Sandman from third film/Spider-Man 2 game using torso and above from HP maxifigs would be great (got half that built but lost momentum on it so if Lego wants to give me a set with it great) Any set that gives us the Raimi version of Goblin is plus too. ITSV/ATSV could give us loads of cool variants. Spider-Rex, Peter Parkedcar plus other normal human shaped Spideys. ASM wouldnt give us much new as far as I can think of, at least for me. Don't forget the hoped Sentinel/X-men set tho thats looking less likely from what we know GIVE US MORE X-MEN CHARACTERS AND VILLAINS!!! Quote
thebricksbear Posted January 13 Posted January 13 I'm not vibing with the Spiderman 2 set rumor but I'll add that the One Piece piece leaks included a sideways arm (like the winged arms but without the wings). I think if a set like this happens it's sure to include a Spiderman with sideways arms. Quote

Is there any normal length sideways arm part? Quote

If there is some other leak out there and it's not just the Luffy stretchy arms, that would be huge news and work for a variety of figures. Spider-Man, for one, but also gliding characters like Moon Knight and Batman, etc. Quote

There's already one current set (two if you count the Spiderwoman one), there's the rumoured minifig series, and last year"s Spider-Man themed AC did badly enough to probably kill this year"s Marvel AC entirely. Sure, Spider-Man is still a huge draw overall but would LEGO stake that much on the Sony version as opposed to the Raimi movies (which tick the box for 90s kids nostalgia bait, LEGO's most favourite thing ever)? Those six words just made my week. :D Cannot overstate how excited I am for a modern Spider-Man 2 set. One of my all time favourite films front to back… I honestly don’t care if we get any other Sony-Verse sets, a set based off this scene is all I need. Okay, a Alchemex Collider or Prowler bike would be fantastic too. On 1/6/2025 at 8:19 PM, Renown said: Nah. But Spider-Man 2 is one of my favourite films of all time, so I can make an allowance for it. Oh, how do the youth of my day say it: “Like, bro, absolutely based opinion.” Seriously though, as someone with zero nostalgia factor playing a role in my viewing of the film, SM2 shines above not just it’s direct predecessor and sequel, but above most other superhero films all together—the Spider-Verse films being the exception for me. That said, the bump in price from $50 to $60 is gonna make me sit this one out on June 1st. I could justify paying $50 since I’d like to have the set before I see the movie, but at $60 I would feel cheated. (At this point, waiting for discounts doesn’t feel rewarding anymore; it just feels like that I didn’t get scammed.) The Hulk Monster Truck sounds so insane that I might just buy it. Quote

Well we're getting a helmet, a 4+ set, and 6 other sets (At least 2 of those being based of Spidey Movies from Sony, with one being based on the iconic Train scene from Raimi Spider-Man 2). If I had to guess, the $110 set is the Spider-Man 2 Train set, the $120 set is the Quinjet from AOU. One of the sets I think will be a copy of the Sentinel from the X-Mansion (the $20 set since the piece count for the sentinel is apparently small), while the other Sony Spidey Set will be an Apartment from the Spider Verse movies (either Miles' or Aaron's) that can connect to the ATSV set we just got. IDK what the other 2 sets could be. Edited January 13 by calebcold3 Quote

I think I remember one of the leakers saying there would be another AoU set in 2025, so yeah the Quinjet is the most likely option, or another diorama-type build based on the last Sokovia battle. Either way I'm really hoping for Pietro and a final-form Ultron, and maybe a non-phasing Vision. 4 hours ago, Swordy said: I could justify paying $50 since I’d like to have the set before I see the movie, Have you ever done this and ended up hating the movie? LEGO will never touch SSUC (or whatever the stupid Venom universe was called with a ten-foot pole). Quote
