Be a great way to get multiple Iron Man suits we havent got or unlikely to get in other sets. There seems to be alot of Mansion sets out recently. Ive seen a few people use either the friends or creator ones to do MOCs of Malibu Mansion plus theres the Twilight set coming soon which is basically a Mansion. Dont know if that helps or hinders the chances of a Malibu Mansion.

I think there is still a big gap in the suit lineup and there are plenty of unique suits Lego can make.

The trailer didn't really do anything for me to be honest. I'm not particularly excited for this series, even though the third season of Daredevil was absolute peak.

Hope it's amazing though.

Cautious optimism for me. I'm seeing a lot of the stuff the show needs- Punisher (And that's one part I'm confident in. Jon Bernthal wouldn't come back for them to make a mockery of Frank Castle), the Matt/Fisk dynamic, Fisk not being entirely cut-and-dry evil, references to the major aspects of Matt's self (The law, religion, his rage, etc), Foggy and Karen, etc. A few shots give me a minute amount of pause, but in the proper context I won't mind them, so again, cautious optimism.

We got the character back in 2016! Not quite the same design as the trailer, but pretty similar.

Yeah, I should have clarified, white tiger as in the guy under the suit. The Ultimate Spider-Man one is a high school girl, and while I don't think we see much of the Daredevil one in the trailer, I'd hazard a guess it's the older version of the character from the comics.

My money's still on Oscorp if we're getting a modular this year. I think Baxter is later down the line, once/if the FF prove themselves. A comic-based Avengers Mansion would also be awesome.

If we do get a D2C building this year I could quite easily see it been Tony’s Malibu Mansion.  It’s popular enough.  Personally I’d like Castle Doom or an off world building

I sure hope not given we've already gotten 2 california-modern mansions in the last year

I feel like we should be seeing a Set List anytime now. It's always weird how Marvel is one of the last ones to receive the Summer Set lists every year, but oh well.

Here's what I could see for the Summer Wave, given what we know about prices and pieces and there being sets based of SONY Spidey movies:

76317: AOU Hulkbuster ($49.99, 394 pieces)

76319: 4+ Hall of Armor, $34.99 (Kinda like the 4+ Batcave was last year)

76320: Standalone Sentinel set ($19.99, 204 pieces) (Similar to how the Leviathan and the Batmobile were)

76321: Spider-Man Vs Rhino ($49.99, 393 pieces) (from the The Amazing Spider Man 2)

76322: Uncle Aaron's or Miles' Apartment ($49.99, 373 pieces)

76324: AOU Quinjet, $129.99

76325: Spider-Man vs Doc Ock Train Battle, $119.99 (Assuming it's a book nook like some have suggested in this thread)

76326: Magneto or Raimi Green Goblin Helmet ($59.99, 379 pieces)

Hopefully this is a realistic Wishlist from me haha @Mandalorianknight

I think we won't have an Oscorp or Baxter Building set this year. DC os getting the large minifiguire system D2C. Marvel will probably get something more like the 76105 hulkbuster, the 76210 hulkbuster, the 76215 black panther or the 76042 Helicarrier.

I think the idea that the Alfred Molina Doctor Octopus train set was a Book nook (or book ends) was based on a misunderstanding and won't be the case.

Also I have to hope that they'd use any other Spider-verse sets to fill character holes that wouldn't fit in the CMF especially either version of SP//dR. Hopefully they'll give the 3rd movie a proper wave when it comes out so I'd rather they saved the second suit for that and do the one from the first movie sooner. Scorpion from Into would also work better in a set. Maybe a fight at May's house. With Peni, SP//dR, May, Scorpion, Tombstone Spider-Ham and Miles. Save prowler for the CMF.

Yeah. The idea was brought up as a worst-case scenario, me and others were arguing against it, and then it spiraled into discussing what themes are based on book adaptations  Some people then thought the SM2 set was actually rumoured to be a book nook, which it isn‘t.

If I had to take a stab at the modular lineup for the next few years, I’d go with:

2025: Oscorp (Daily Bugle is close to retirement and another Spider-Man display piece will likely take its place. Oscorp is the obvious option. Plus, there’s not really anything new releasing this year to tie into).

2026: Dr. Doom’s Castle (tie-in for Doomsday makes the most sense to me)

2027: Baxter Building (tie-in for Secret Wars, same logic)

I could also see Avengers Mansion taking the place of Dr. Doom’s Castle, either comic based (we have gotten a handful of comic based Avengers and their villains recently) or potentially MCU if it appears in either film.

Beyond that, IDK. Maybe they’ll expand to non-modular buildings like Asgard, Malibu Mansion, and Avengers Compound. Or we’ll see them cycle back through some of the old ideas like Daily Bugle and Xavier Institute.

Exabricks posted a picture of Lego Mister Negative with 2025 on his channel. Not sure if that means we’re getting the character in minifigure form or if the 2025 summer wave is gonna be negative.

That sounds ideal although idk if doom’s castle would work next to other New York buildings but some said the same about X Mansion.

Exabricks just posted a picture of mister negative - Oscorp it is!

Let‘s not jump to conclusions, for all we know he could be included in a regular playset

I doubt he’d have the minifigure lineup for any Marvel modular this early in the year. We didn’t have a list for the X-Mansion until late summer, and that was really early as far as the modulars have been concerned.

I think it’s more likely he’s in either the CMF or another Spider-Verse related set.

edit: Nevermind, he’s apparently not in the Spiderverse films. So maybe a comic based set? But, if that’s the case, there is a chance he could appear in a hypothetical Oscorp set.

Very good point - we could see him in a summer set and then ‘bleed’ into Oscorp

That would be a hilariously cruel pun

A Martin Li minifig being hinted at for this year makes me lean towards the idea of getting PS4/PS5 Spider-Man sets.

And if that is the case, did Lego only just realise that they could make sets based on non-MCU Spider-Man media? Spider-Verse+Raimi+Insomniac sets and a CMF all in the same year would be kinda wild, almost like they're making up for lost time.

It's probably not though, but one can hope.

Could you imagine? Spider-verse, Raimi, and PS sets all in the same year would be pretty mindblowing :oh:

I‘m more expecting a comic version though.

Yeah. While not confirmation this is a point in the oscorp column. I would be pleasantly surprised if they actually remembered the games exist and we got a non-SDCC advanced suit.

Mindblowing? More like wallet-blowing, because that poor thing would not recover from this.

That would be the funniest thing of the year if true.

Plus "Sony Spider-Verse" CMF which all of the above are Sony so is could it be a wider Sony CMF

Yeah that Switch 2 announcement might have injured my Lego budget, though I won't get it till there's some interesting exclusive games I don't just want a new console for the sake of it.

For DC, it‘s apparently the latter :hmpf: Let‘s hope the hint was literal for the Marvel side of things!

This was my first thought too. Would love to see the PS game made into a Lego set, especially if it paves the way for sets based on the Insomniac Wolverine game.

It's really weird that this is the year Lego is going all out for Spider-Man stuff. The Raimi films, ITSV, and now the Insomniac game. I wonder if Lego's MCU stuff has been selling so poorly the last few years that this is just the first year that they've gotten everything together to focus on purely Spider-Man content since he's a sure bet unlike the new MCU films.
