XG BC Posted January 6 Posted January 6 After making the prototype chassis yesterday i have made a locomotive out of it, inspired by the egger bahn electric locomotive: here is mine: and yes it drives on its own. Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted January 6 Posted January 6 This little creature is adorable...beautiful model! I like how you used two tracks to make a narrow lane Quote

Sebeus I Posted January 9 Posted January 9 What a cute little thing . Any Idea what kind of operations such small locomotive would be used for? Quote
XG BC Posted January 10 Author Posted January 10 shunting goods around a factory most likely. or mining industry. just generally industrial use. Quote
XG BC Posted January 10 Author Posted January 10 a video of it running, including the track i made (i had some plastic track laying around, that i dont use) https://flic.kr/p/2qEzwrt the track is made by cutting the middle two studs out with a saw. Quote
Toastie Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Simply amazing. This is so cool. Do you see any approach to include Tenka's Circuit Cubes stuff? Even when making it a tiny bit larger? The BLE cube w/ Lipo is 4 wide (blue, ok, that sucks), the motor 2 wide but a 4 long - but then your lovely critter would be ... free. I used their products on my monorail from the dark side ... Anyway: Congratulations on this truly wonderful achievement! (As others have said) All the best, Thorsten Quote
XG BC Posted January 11 Author Posted January 11 thank you, yeah have tried fitment with studio, it would need to be changed quite a bit to work, but i might come up with something else in the future... Quote
