If we really getting V-19 in the summer I hope the build is solid and decently sized unlike Arc-170 we just got. Also apperently Ventress is being teased as a possible inclusion with the set which is awesome since we haven gotten her since 2015! Now I just want new Obi-Wan in the set and it'll be a must buy for me.

Logically, it makes sense if Aayla appears in this summer wave, or next January given the 327th rumours.

Huh, V-19 seems to actually be decently priced—it has 567 pieces and costs $60.

Plus, it would get more use out of the Twilek head mold, since Hera brought it back.

Personally, though, I'd want Shaak Ti to find a spot at some point. She's only ever been in one set, and unlike most of the Jedi masters, she only has the bug-eyed Clone Wars head to represent her.

Purge Trooper bp alone I’m shocked they haven’t done one (could tie it in with Kenobi series as well), I am surprised it never got much representation especially when other video games have had sets, it’s not like the Jedi games have done badly either, I hold on to a slim hope that they bring Cal in to live action and then he gets the sets the series deserves

V wing would have been a perfect excuse to do a cheapish (in LEGO terms) sets for TBB.

i get why for most it’s not the most promising line up with all the clone sets but at least it’s newish stuff. Sets we’ve never had before or legions/figures that haven’t been covered. As much as we love the OT a lot of it has been done a lot and quite well to the point where I’d say we do need to focus on some other eras but in the same breath there is more to PT and CW than just the clone army

the V19 sounds promising, is it Clone Wars based? If so, it gives me hope that characters who appeared in that show but were never produced in Lego, can be produced some day. Namely, Add Gallia, Tiplee and Tiplar. Would love to get them in Lego someday.

Side note, if Lego does not include Cad Bane in another set, I may have to end up buying that ugly ship he came in last summer (?). Gotta wait for a discount but really hoping he pops up somewhere else so I can skip the Justifier.

75433 is supposedly a ship. It has to be a bad guy vehicle. Right? The MTT can’t be the only play-scale bad guy vehicle for the entire year. Right? It has to be an imperial set of some sort to counter the U-Wing. Right? It has to be an imperial patrol gunship or tie defender. Right? We can ignore @Renown telling us to temper our expectations. Right? I’m definitely not high on copium. Right?

Yeah exactly- I keep getting recommendations of some streamers that I really hope are parody, because man they are annoying. They make the guys you mentioned look like overwhelmingly positive and calm individuals.

Yeah I planned out my purchases for the year, and the ONLY set that I'm 100% buying from star wars this year is that one. I might get the home one if it hits discount, but that's it. I would be interested in the U-wing, but I can't see a way it ends up being better than the 2016 model, and I'd be interested in the 327th pack if not for the price.

Guessing it will probably be BB-8, but it could be an IG I suppose or maybe a simple battle droid. A Magna Guard would fit with the current Clone Wars obsession, but I mean these things apparently sell so well, they might just get lazy and give us a good old gonk.

That would bring the wave all the way around to "so bad it's good" (Not really, but it would be hilarious for the only sets for the kid-focused show to be a $140 ship and an 18+ set)

BB-8 makes sense for TFA coverage, as does a B1 for the clone craze. I actually would really like a Gonk, they're a lot of fun.

That's a suspiciously good PPP ratio for a set that I'm having trouble seeing being primarily comprised of tiny parts.

I mean to an extent, but this is every single 2HY system set we're talking about. I think there are two non-clone/clone wars playsets this year, and it's a night trooper BP and the Andor set. Every playset not directly based on new content is clone/clone wars.

This entire wave feels like a fever dream similar to last year's. Actually, this wave somehow feels like more of a CW anniversary wave than the one 2 years ago. Hoping for 2003 microseries Ventress/Kenobi in the V19 Torrent but I'll be fine with TCW versions.

I think LEGO did the impossible, I have clone fatigue and I’ve been clone army building clones for the past 4 years! Like I just like the only more clone sets I want to see this year and beyond for at least 5 years are: an ep 2/ep 3 gunship which ever of the two they choose, a v wing and a phase 1 clone battle pack like I kid you not the v 19 might’ve been my shattering point and there’s still 3 sets we don’t know what are that could be clone sets! The V 19 is so unnecessary like I get it we haven’t had one in over a decade but we just got the arc which is another big republic starfighter (I know that they fill two COMPLETELY different niches in universe) a v wing and vulture droid combo would’ve been SOOOO much better! The fact we haven’t had a vulture droid in so long is mind boggling to me. So yeah me and my wallet need a clone hiatus till 2030 but we all know we will get sets for the 25th anniversary of aotc and the 20th anniversary of TCW

Maybe LEGO was counting on the fact that all of the fans who are cloned-out and thus won’t have spent much on Star Wars this year will have saved enough by the end of the year to buy one of the only non-clone sets: the $1,000 Death Star.

I’d be more annoyed had it been another kasshyk (I can’t spell it but you know what I mean) wave or another 501st but definitely after this year Lego needs to chill with the P2 clones. I always want more Empire stuff, I want Purge Troopers, I want more inquisitiors, more shore troopers, that random flame trooper from the Mandolorian ( if they can do that Mortar trooper they can do him :D ). I always think it’s impossible to please everyone especially with how big SW is I think the nature of the beast is some fans will have expensive years and some will have cheap years. Just as long as they still have a focus on the system sets I don’t mind what they do.

There will be times when the struggle seems impossible. I know this already. Alone, unsure, dwarfed by the scale of the clone sets. Remember this. Balanced waves are a pure idea. It occurs spontaneously and with instructions. Random acts of non-TCW sets are occurring constantly throughout the galaxy. There are whole fans of movies, trilogies that have no idea that they've already enlisted in the cause. Remember that the frontier of the non-TCW SW fans is everywhere. And even the smallest act of non TCW sets pushes our lines forward. And then remember this. The clone bro need for control is so desperate because it is so unnatural. Tyranny requires constant effort. It breaks, it leaks. Brown bricks are brittle. Oppression is the mask of fear. Remember that. And know this, the day will come when all these purchases and builds, these moments of building will have flooded the banks of the clone bro authority and then there will be one too many. One single set will break the siege. Remember this. Buy (The Andor U-Wing).
