hopeso009 Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 (edited) The design is surely from Star Wars(refer to the pictures at the lowest potion) [1] REASON for building this : 7127&7657 really look different as AT-ST, 10174 a bit too big for minifig. [2] TIME for building: TUE started, SAT finished (4 -5 days) [3] EXPERIENCE in building it : at the beginning... I thought the head (operation chamber) is the most difficult part. I found out that the "leg" was also not easy. It is quite difficult to have perfect balance on standing and walking posts. The process was full of fun.~~~ Photos Top is quite complicated can walk and stand firmly~~ Thanks for watching for more pictures, pls link to here: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/115966 . Skipper 24 Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 (edited) Nice it's practically minifig scale. I think it needs to be a bit wider. It's the best AT-ST MOC I have seen, it is very accurate and detailed. Well done . Edited August 3, 2008 by Skipper 24 Quote
KimT Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 That's one of the finest AT-ST MOCs I've ever seen. I wish TLG would have done their minifig-scaled AT-STs this way. Nice work, I've added it to the index. KimT Quote
baby Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 Wow, is a great job. I like this AT-ST very much. It was so nicely design. Quote
Fatespuppet Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 This is an excellent build. I'm a huge fan of the bi-ped walkers from SW and own at least two of every one released by Lego. This is by far the best one I've ever come across. Can it fit more than one figure inside? Quote
Shoc Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 That is a great creation! That's one of the finest AT-ST MOCs I've ever seen.I wish TLG would have done their minifig-scaled AT-STs this way. Nice work, I've added it to the index. Almost exactly what I was going to say! Except for the indexing bit, as I have no ability to do that... :skull: Quote
commanderbly42 Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 Way more accurate than either of TLC's versions, that's for sure. Can you please give us a picture or two of the interior? Great job! Quote
Justin2224 Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 Great, But the cockpit should fit 2 people. Maybe you could try that? Quote
hopeso009 Posted August 4, 2008 Author Posted August 4, 2008 Great, But the cockpit should fit 2 people. Maybe you could try that? probably not possible since LEGO minifig is a bit too wide in comparing to true human figure If it needs to fit two drivers in chamber, the chamber will go very wide like 10174. ~~~~then not so good in overall proportion~~~~~~~(I think) Quote
sigpro Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 I find it very well finished but it should allow two minifigs to be a "real" At-St, shouldn´t it? Good job anyway. The legs are excellent. Quote
Lego12 Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 (edited) That's cool. Great MOC! I it! It looks like an actual set! Edited August 10, 2008 by lego12 Quote
darkrebellion Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 Great work hopeso009, that one amazing scaled AT-ST . I think your model is awesome designed not too small like the first AT-ST of the TLC and not too blocky like the second one. Good job . Quote
JimBee Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Nicely done. I can see that you put a lot of time and creativity in this, good work. Quote
pr0visorak Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 It looks really cool But I think the head needs to be bigger.Because you can fit about 2 people in there.Anyway in the lego sar wars game is is not that thin. But besides that, good job! Quote
