Posted August 7, 200816 yr I hope it is ok to post this here. Look at this huge lot of Imperial minifigs for sale at BL. The link to the store is HERE if you are interested. Kind of pricey, but you get a complete army in one purchase. I wish I had the money for it. Tony
August 7, 200816 yr It's about $9.25 per figure...individually the figs on Bricklink are currently selling for an average of $6.72 (going by the price of a bluecoat soldier with backpack--red coat average is $6.95) with the lowest under $5. This means that the lot is overpriced. The value of the lot is closer to about $1,365, not $1,935 (It's overpriced by $570 (about 38%), enough to buy 82 Imperial guard minifigs). August 7, 200816 yr That's a ton of army figures. If I had the money for this, I might buy it . It's an impressive lot...even if it's a bit overpriced.
August 7, 200816 yr Woa impressive army, but indeed way overpriced. The advantage is getting a good arm in once though... Thanks for sharing!

This means that the lot is overpriced. I just checked Bricklink for Imperial Guards, and there doesn't seem to be any big lots left (20+). Someone must be building up a big army out there. I hope this doesn't raise the already inflated price up even higher. I guess my army will have to wait.
August 7, 200816 yr Governor You've done well to provide those calculations, Wes. Imperial Guards and Soldiers aren't cheap at the best of times but you're right, that price is a bit excessive.

Well, you do save shipping costs and time from not having to buy them from a lot of different sellers, there are some extra accesories, + 2 armada figs and some expensive governor/admiral broadside/woodhouse minifigs. But on the other hand, most of the figs have the cheaper tricorne and not the shako and there are lots of yellow (or even no) epaulettes, mostly instead of blue ones.
