August 7, 200816 yr That would be about minifig scale, right? I like that. Haven't seen the movie though... Nice work!
August 7, 200816 yr Author Thanks! @ Captain green hair: I haven't seen the movie too (It will be released in Austria on September 25th), but I think my MOC is too big for minifig scale (it's slightly shorter than a minifig) Edited August 7, 200816 yr by Stefan
August 8, 200816 yr Awww! Its so cute! I really like it though, even if it isn't minifig scale. It seem that its the latest fad among the Lego community. EB should have a WALL-E contest. darthperson
August 8, 200816 yr can you tell me how you made the body, what pieces you used? cause I can't really tell...
August 8, 200816 yr but I think my MOC is too big for minifig scale (it's slightly shorter than a minifig) Well, if you think about it, so's the minifig scale R2-D2, so I think it's just perfect! Great work and welcome to EB!
August 8, 200816 yr Author Thank you! @tin7: The body is a Travis Brick, upside down. On the Back is a Tile 2 x 2, on the front a Plate 2 x 2 covered with Tiles, and on the sides are Plates 1 x 2 with one Stud. Inside the Travis Brick is a Technic Pin 1/2, which holds the Bar 1.5L with Clip for the Head. Here's a complete part list: Part - Colour (Quantity) Brick 1 x 1 with Stunds on 4 sides - Any colour (1x) Plate 2 x 2 - Yellow (1x) Tile 2 x 2 - Yellow (1x) Tile 1 x 2 - Yellow (1x) Tile 1 x 1 - Dark Bley (1x); Trans-Red (1x) Plate 1 x 2 with 1 Stud - Yellow (2x) Pneumatic T piece - Light Bley (1x) Technic Pin 1/2 - Light Bley (5x) Technic Liftarm 1 x 3 Straight - Black (2x) Tile 1 x 1 with Clip - Black, but any Bley or Yellow also works (2x) Technic Flex-System Hose - Black or Bley, cut to a lenght of about 6mm (2x) Bar 1.5L with Clip - Dark Bley (3x) Panel 1 x 1 x 1 Corner - Light Bley (2x) Plate 1 x 1 - Light Bley (2x) Plate 1 x 1 round - Dark Bley (2x)
August 8, 200816 yr That's a really nice model. I think it's the best small-scale one I've seen. Good job!
August 8, 200816 yr Yes, of all the LEGO recreations of the character I've seen, this is definitely my favourite. Dr. S.
August 9, 200816 yr Author Thanks! As for the body and thread design, I have to credit Neo Vox. Btw, soon Wall-E will meet his Girlfriend! Edited August 9, 200816 yr by Stefan
August 16, 200816 yr Very nicely done Stefan! He might be a little big for MF scale, but i think that's as close we're going to get. Very innovative on the construction; it took me a while to figure out how it was made. Hope it's ok if i build one of your wall-e's, cause i'm going to anyway. Great work!
August 17, 200816 yr The Wall-E has the most detail I have seen and that is a terrific EVA. Amazing work!
September 29, 200816 yr I´ve seen the movie today an I have to say your two robots are absolutely brilliant! Although they are very small, they capture the feeling of the movie - very well done!
September 29, 200816 yr I´ve seen the movie today an I have to say your two robots are absolutely brilliant!Although they are very small, they capture the feeling of the movie - very well done! I saw the movie some time ago, I liked it very much, especcialy the "mute" part which was filled with emotions! Your Wall-E is great, simple but good-looking; and EVA too, I like your WALL-E more though.
October 10, 200915 yr Author Hello! I just rebuilt Wall•E's treads and hands to make him more accurate: Regards, Stefan
October 10, 200915 yr It looks even better now. Great job. And together with EVA it looks really cute! Very nice work!
October 11, 200915 yr Your V2 looks very good! One thing that worries me is the tires snapping. I also love EVE!
October 11, 200915 yr Wow, these look awesome! They capture the shape and look of both WALL-E and EVE. Nicely done!
