rriggs Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 (edited) Hi Obviously, we are all brought together by a common interest in Lego but I thought it might be interesting to find out what some of us do for a living in the times between shopping for Lego and building Lego and that, most importantly, also pays for all those lovely pieces and sets. I'll kick it off; I'm a coach driver driving all over the UK and Europe (that's motorcoach driver for those of you on the wrong side of the Atlantic! ). I use time when I am away on tour so scout different towns and countries for Lego (at my employers expense!) and some evenings in the hotels to see what's going on on the forums. Fave country for Lego has to be France because French hypermarkets give coach drivers 15 euros to spend on what they want and I always choose Lego! Free Lego is the best Lego! Cheers Rog Edited August 11, 2008 by rriggs Quote

Dr. Brick Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 Altough I'm not 18 yet I work at the local Oxfam store from time to time. I also managed to get a summer job at a LEGO camp. Seems they never had anybody before who was actually interested in LEGO. Dr. Brick Quote
fugglewyg Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 Well now i am back from a short holiday i will be going back to work tomorrow (boo). I work as a marine electrician for a small company that make instrument panels and power distribution panels for luxury motor yachts. I help build and design the panels and have to go and fix them if they ever develop a fault (or, as is usually the case if some clown wires them up wrong). Unfortunately this is only local - i never get to go and fix the ones sold to the states or down in the mediterranean Quote
