Small event in Lobberich Nettetal.

Todaz I will meet Holodoc in Lobberich Nettetal.

At least I think it was called that

We will go to his hospital, see the famous model of the same, and have some fun.

I (or he) will report back, with some photos.

To all that doesn´t know, I´m in Deutschland (Germanz that is for all americans) right now.

That is whz, it looks so funnz with all the "Z" all over.

For some reason thez changed places on "Y" and "Z".

I will trz to find a good answer to this as well todaz.

Otherwise, I will trz to shift places on those 2 kezs on Sabines kezboard.

I have studid 2 zears of elektronic in school. I can´t reallz see what can go wrong.

So, I need to be off now, so I dont miss mz appointment with the doctor.

Hope I will come from him in one piece

Well, even a german keyboard layout cannot stop a real viking!

We had a real nice day at my home town.

Shall I skip the notice that you left the train a station too soon, Ras?

Ok, I´ll skip it.

We first went to my working place the local hospital to have dinner.

After that Ras was the first foreign AFOL to take a look at my hospital MOC which is in the hospital right now for it will be exhibited there (for the next years?) from the following weekend on. Needless to say I´m quite proud that my MOC reached it´s final destination now.

We then headed over to my place where we had a lot of talking about AFOL topics and some members of Eurobricks, but relax, Hinckley and Copmike, I won´t mention your name here.

I showed Ras how crowded a lego collection can be and what the limitations regarding free space in my house are.

Maybe I will use the new build wooden house to store my entire lego collection. But don´t tell my sons.

It was a great day that went by really fast. Thank you, Ras for stopping by (and handing over the BNSF ).

I hope this event will have a sequel, I´d love to see some other people from the forum here as well, or go to their place instead.

So I´m finally home at my own computer and can post my reply to this topic.

It was so great to meet Holodoc and see his home, and where he produce his magic.

How is it going with that by the way?

Here is Holodoc in his doorway to his Kingdom.

That is a nice house he and his family got really.

I must admit I falled in love abit in it.

The last pic is of Holodoc in the treehouse he built to his sons.

It is just such a treehouse you would have wanted to have when you was in their age.

Thanks a million Holodoc for letting me meet your familly, and see your house.

It was maybe one of the shortest small events ever.

But I had a urge to get back to Bonn ¨

No idea why. But it might inflict that I´m still newly in love with a very nice girl there

Seeing Holodoc in his "uniform" with the minifig really made my day - I so need to wear one also (note to myself - clear that with the boss first!).

Did Ras have that lobotomy done when he was at the hospital, we've been waiting a long time for that ?

Looks like you guys had fun! Thanks for sharing the pics. It's good to see you, Ras. I miss you! That's an awesome treehouse, Holodoc! Maybe while he's up there, your sons can teach Ras some proper English skills. he keeps putting Z's in all over the place.
