Anyone after ~7 years still interested?

LOtHKbf.jpg

This is the backside of the 1993 Town Mini Catalogue from the US. (Front here: https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?C=m93usto2 )Seems there were to kinds of all Legoland themed Mini catalogues in 1993: The normals backside with all the other themes and this special-offer backside. Also it seems that this idea from Lego was only half-assed launched in the US and only for two years, though the instructions were the same across the world.

A question remains though: what does the colour-code in the instructions in the place were the points were from 1994 onwards mean? There are blue corners as well as yellow and red ones. Any ideas? :)

^^^ Thanks for posting that. I happen to own that flier too.

I do not recall if I ever cashed these in since the sets weren't so rare or expensive so I had no motivation to cut my instructions for these.

Today, several cereals still offer free items with points or proof of purchases. It was a cheap gimmick then and cheaper now.

But they were ugly and frankly I'm not proud O owned many of these institutions.
