graham g Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 (edited) I got mine in the post the other day and I have to say I was so impressed I ordered another one and a standard at the same time. Will probably pass one on to a friend and store the other one away. Edited September 1, 2008 by graham g Quote
Johnny 5 Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 No, that´s five if you count them .CopMike  Can't believe I can't count, and I'm studying to be an engineer, maybe I should reconsider... My number is 2223 Quote
Brick n Brick Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 Wow! Thanks for the review! Now I wanna get one! It would be really quite neat to look at all the sets. Quote
graham g Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Amazingly the speculators have moved in already. Can you believe the price that this seller is charging? eBay auction for Premium Collector copy Quote
Kernow Posted September 1, 2008 Author Posted September 1, 2008 That's a shocking price considering you can buy them new for less than half of that still. It's not even got a low edition number. Only a fool would buy it at that amount. Knowing some buyers on Ebay though, it'll probably be gone by the end of the week... Quote
man on bridges Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 I really recommend this version to any LEGO collector if you can afford the extra cost. It really is a fantastic resource and the extras are a great touch too. Hi fans I received my premium collector copy today. Can someone tell me if the included bricks and the minifig will also be separately available? Otherwise I guess I've to order another limited copy Quote

Don´t expect to get them cheap though. Quote
Bundalings Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 Ooh... this looks like a must have. A bit pricey, and I guess I'll have to get it through Bricklink, but I guess it would be worth it... ~Bunda Quote
Norro Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 So I've finally got round to posting my views on the new Collector's guide... Apart from the title being the wrong way round on the spine (continent?), it was brilliant! A great, and fairly detailed, resource. So far I've only found one set I have that is not listed. I really look forward to compiling one edition with all the sets I own, marked. It is wonderful(?) to flip through and see the ones that got away, along with sets I missed through ignorance. It is also great for meeting and comparing memories when internet access is not readily available... It is like someone took the Lugnet set guide offline. The only minor issues I have are that the initial asking price would have been nice for each set, but probably that's impractical. Also the rareness icons could use some work. The gold C3PO is 'common'... God Bless, Nathan Quote
brickzone Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Just a note that this is now available to buy direct from S@H (at least for Ireland). At €45, I can't really buy it just to have such an exclusive package with the minifig and bricks. I would like to have hardback book rather than the ordinary one, but I would usually pay the normal price (€23 for the regular edition) for a hardback book! I think I'll have to purchase the ordinary edition all the same the next time I order from S@H - it's a nice resource. Quote

Norro Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Are you doing that with the premium edition of the standard one? I intended to use a standard one, but after seeing the number of pages and how easily the book bends I am considering using a premium edition, just to ensure any time I spent doing this wold not be waisted! God Bless, Nathan btw cheers for pointing out the premium edition on S@H Ire brickzone! Quote
kill will Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 Hi, I live in the US and really want one of these and was wondering if some european member would be nice enough to buy one for me as I would be willing to pay all shipping costs and stuff. I know this should be in th buy, sell, trade, section but since this a topic about it... Quote
