Excellent news!

Honestly, stop worrying people. There is no way that LEGO would allow them to make a different toy and call it LEGO, that pretty much goes against their entire corporate image.

It'll be real LEGO.

As for McDonalds... everything in moderation. Or, just ask them to let you buy the toy separately. A lot of them will do that.

If they want to charge as much as the meal, take the meal, give it to a homeless person outside and enjoy your LEGO.

Do a good deed and stop griping.

Geez. :hmpf:

I'm pretty sure you can just ask to buy a full set of the toys. Or does that not happen any more?

Never seen that in my life. Traditionally, at least here, fast food toys show up by weeks. McDonalds is usually 8 toys spread out over 4 weeks. Sometimes it's faster, if they sell well, so you have to keep a close eye. Once they run through the initial lot, sometimes they start over, or clear out whatever is left, so it gets kind of random.

The last two years the LEGO ones have just been crappy little action figs  .

How do you know this? Do you know for a fact, or is it just a guess?

Another Wizard of Oz Film? Must be lame!

I'm not into Batman very much but I will buy the babyish happy meals if they include Lego minifigures.

(If only they did that with Clone minifigs!)

Does anyone know anything for a fact here?

But logically, would LEGO allow their name to be put on non-LEGO toys?

Wait, how can a Batmobile or a Batboat or something that large fit in a McDonald's meal? Wait, how can McDonalds be NOT cheapskating enough to even give people that? Damn... I hope they aren't awesome exclusives that the world will want...

But if they wanted to make them BY the game, they should've made one for the Mad Hatter, Clayface, Killer Moth, Batgirl, Man Bat, etc. :sceptic:

But I digress... This is most interesting. Pics will surely reveal the truth...

P.S. If any pics were posted in pages 2-3 I wouldn't know. I only read page 1.

Look at the most recent Bionicle promos there. Those were hunks of cheap plastic. :sceptic: I really think this would be nice if they were real LEGO, but judging by the Bionicle ones, Im not getting my hopes up...

i highly doubt the batman happy meal will have minifigs, but there's no harm in hoping for at least one brick built set. the last time they had real LEGO was in 1999:

Well, it is Bionicle...

I figure the vehicle sounding sets will be very minimal minis of some kind.

Seriously, I'm just hoping it's worthwhile, we really won't know until closer in.

Im actually kinda excited about this, I don't care what the accessories are like I jsut want some figs for a small price...and a cheese burger of course

You and me both, hopefully at the very least it contains figs, and then I'm buying them all! :cry_happy:

Batbrick Away!

Really? The one I got shot a little card disk.

Oh, well then it was probably the ones before those with the disks.

Yes. Look at the last promo from 2006. Ugly action figures that shot things. I do believe that that's what we're going to get. Which is a shame. I might have bought a McFlurry to get one of the sets if they were better, but... things aren't looking good.

Well there was the 2001 promo, the Tohunga, they were real Bionicle.

Yeah, I think so too. :sadnew: It has always been like that and it always will be. And that Robin in the picture below fits the description of "ugly action figure that shoots things" pretty well. :hmpf_bad: The Batman in the picture too: He is probably the one called "Batman and Batarang", and that long arm of his probably has a spring on it, so that you can put a batarang in its hand, pull it back and let it go to make it throw the batarang. :hmpf:

Besides, even if McDs has had real bricks and Bionicles in the past, they never had any minifigs! I think it's because they have too small parts. :sceptic: So I really wouldn't get my hopes up, folks.

Oh well. If these action figures or whatever you can call them look decent, I might actually get a Batman and/or a Mr. Freeze and/or a Joker. I bet these will look kinda cool on a display next to the Pilot Luke Maquette. I just hope these come on a stand with studs like the maquette.

I'd love for this to be true, especialy if they came with minifgs.

C'Mon! Let's think positive!! With the Lego Game coming out in a short 2 weeks and still with some hangover from the movie, they might be real minifigs w/ different weapons. Think of the keychains - they're not that expensive.

Good point, the chances are they aren't real minifigs but you might as well not be so cynical about it. I'm normally cynical!

will these be available in Canadian McDonald's or just in the US?

This is what I'm wondering, I want them to come here, even if they are bad!

Batbrick Away!
