Introducing my best Spaceship so far (and my only one that actually looks like a spaceship), the Barracuda-32! It's 100% SNOTty!

It's my space sigfig's ship.

Unfortunately, it's unarmed so it has to rely on Barracuda-8 fighters and barracuda-16 bombers to defend it (i haven't designed those yet)

it's piloted by a B-24 Automated pilot, and has a B-20 Oxygen generator in the lower levels (as my excuse for being unable to find a way to finish the door wall and having the back open).

Some tips:

The shape is decent, make it longer - Right now it looks like a barge!

The bridge isn't astounding, it sticks out alot, and I would expect to see it at an airport rather than the command center of a top of the line space ship.

Give it wings? Fill up those gaps? Give it some nice engines? Give it some big ole guns?

The shape is a great start, however.

Ironic, you being the infomaniac and all...

Studs Not On Top

Even more ironically your spaceship is not SNOT, it´s just studless.

SNOT means the studs are not facing upwards but "looking" to the sides (or downwards).

A good example for that is 007´s boat (in his sig).

Guess you have to update the title of this thread.

There's studless dripping off my nose? :p

@brickmaster: the Barracuda-32 isn't top of the line :p it's actually pretty much at the bottom of the line (it's a barebones ship designed to be easily modified). the -64 will be a midclass ship and the -128 will be a top of the line ship. at any rate, it's better then my previous atrocity.

For some reason, the first model got rejected for "trademark violation"? How is Barracuda-32 a trademarked name? all it was was a nod to the BSB... oh well, on the LDD Gallery it will go by a more generic name (starcruiser-32a).

Here's the updated model

So, is this like, an open-docking kind of ship? It looks like a small fighter could fly in and dock that way. Or maybe it just isn't finished. Personnally, I like the first dosign's command Bridge, it reminds me of a freighter starship.
