That's cheap! just €1 or something for a minifig!!:oh3:

I thougt: Why are they doing this?!

Do somebody now why it's so cheap?

Thnx

I think its on sale. On my UK version it say £15.00!

Me and brother are gonna combine cash and get it.

It looks really sweet, and as I said, I think its a sale.

Hope that helps,

They were on sale previously also. It looks like this time they also won't be selling out completely before the sale ends (received an email suggesting it was last chance for the summer sale).

I got one too, although I sort of would prefer now not to have previously gotten the Vikings one.

A pity the squares are glued, although in my set, the rooks etc. were not glued.

Old Castle Chess set..., WHY IS IT SO CHEAP!?

Because not so many people want it anymore, so it's put on sale.

What we really need is a sale like that of a few years ago when popular Summer sets were put on sale.

(This was the 2nd year of Knight's Kingdom where there was a massive evil castle on sale at Christmas)

It’s on sale, I assume that Lego produced to many, nd need to sell through probably before they bring out a new one.

They already did bring out a new one.

I guess that's the reason.

The old Castle Chess is obsolete and they need to get rid of it.

I've got one and it's a massive BattlePack that adds a lot to your army of Crownies and Skeletons.

Sadly the plate is glued as the other small chess sets.

The stock sometimes seems to be country-dependant, items can run out in one place and still be available elsewhere, even within Europe. However, they probably also redistribute stock, as sometimes items are only out of stock for a short time, or spontaneously reappear for a brief period.

That's a very good observation. I've often wondered why it took them a week to resupply an item sold out in Ireland when it was available in the UK... Surely it came from the same warehouse?

God Bless,

Nathan
