You shouldn't make jokes about german toy shops, you would be surprised of what you could find inside of those.

I found a monorail track in box 3 month ago in a small german store for 10 euros. Those shops are full with old lego

Sales are not easy to find. I can't recall finding a set on clearance when I was a kid. To find cheap lego, it takes time, and you also need a car in most of the cases ;)

hm.. got my 4th tusken raider encounter for 6 euro... and they sttill have at east 30 sets there.. ;) (yeah, lots of swoop bikes and tusken!!! :D)

i'll try to visit the store the next days and i'll try to get an overview about their sets... what do you mean with monorail, jipay? the space thing?!? (the one i have... :P) or was there another (city-based) one?

oh, and the problem with that shop is, they really know from us freaky afols, so they don't sell the sets very cheap... :( i think mos espa is about 80 euro... :(

I'm interested in both monorails : space or city. I have a track but nothing to put on it.

I get tusken rider for 3 euros ! :D keep trying :)

There are no new sales near me lately :( I wish I had a little shop near me which had tons of sets. All we get is big stores which sell hardly any lego.

I would like to see what other sets they have. It is a sneaky plan to put the prices up because they know that people want to buy them. I bet they make alot of money from all the AFOL who buy there.

Although, sellers on ebay sell things for ridiculous prices. Sometimes they make up lies and post flase pictures of things to sell for more.

Jipay, what is an fpt client??

TOPIC WARNING

now, thats was MORE than only off-topic by chance... :P

back to topic: i don't think that they makle too much money, at least this isn't any welllnown shop and its in a very small village, so there are a few people that know of it and i think most of them won't by everything there... so they are patient and wait... till some idiot comes with 80 euro and buys mos espa... *g*

maybe i'll have some time to visit the store tomorrow... but i won't go in there with a notepad.... remember, this is a small village and everybody knows me here... ;)

Well get a pda and take notes with it inside of the shop and say "I have to take notes for the business lego website eurobricks.com"

You will look like either to a fool or to a serious busy guy
