Deinonychus Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Strange that all these TRU exclusives haven't shown up on S@H yet. I've got a $5 Brickmaster coupon burning a hole in my pocket Quote
BlueBard Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 I was wondering if somebody knows if preliminary shots of 7639 "Camper" can be seen somewhere. I would want to check some details. Thanks for helping! Quote
Klaus-Dieter Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 I was wondering if somebody knows if preliminary shots of 7639 "Camper" can be seen somewhere. I would want to check some details. Thanks for helping! When you type the set number in BS you can find a blurry pic of it. To my knowledge that's the only pic we have seen until now. But I hope that we'll see some less blurry pics and some pics of the interior (mainly of the interior of the houses in the amazing City Corner set) soon. Is there someone who is going to the German toy fair and will take some pics there? Klaus-Dieter Quote
Svelte Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 7746 Single Drum Roller now available from S@H for non NA countries. Quote
Derek Posted February 6, 2009 Author Posted February 6, 2009 In addition to that, I saw the rest of the farm sets have been added to S@H for NA as well. Quote
metalandi Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Do you have a link? I can't find the farm sets anywhere on the city shop page Quote
Svelte Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Farm sets are still only available for NA. You can set your country to the US or Canada and view the product pages that way, but you still can't order them outside North America Quote
Bricks Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Some new german and maybe european prices from our Toy Fair Event: LEGO CITY 7638 € 12,99 LEGO CITY 7639 €16,99 LEGO CITY 7746 € 29,99 LEGO CITY 7641 €49,99 LEGO CITY 7642 €79,99 LEGO CITY 8402 €7,99 'Bricks' Quote

I believe you but nevertheless three prices seem to be a bit unrealistic to me: The wrecker (7638) is imo for 13 Euros a bit expensive whereas the camper (7639) sound to be 3 Euros to less to me. In total they are the same as the tractor and the horse trailer together. But since the horse trailes is already 20 Euros I would have thought that the camper will be 20 Euros, too. And since the tractor is 10 Euros I would have thought that the wrecker will be 10 Euros, too. Anyway the sum is the same - and that's good! But I must say that the price of the awesome City Corner sounds to me absolutely unrealitic. Perhaps you read the trade price and not the recommended retail price since 50 Euros sound to me much too less for this great set. I looked into the customer's catalogue and there read that the fire station is 63 Euros. So the City Corner must be minimum the same price, too, but I think that it'll be 70 Euros. If this information is nevertheless right then I fear, like Lockt, too, that there won't be much interior in the two great buildings. But that would be really a shame since the exterior of the buildings is perfect! I would prefer to pay 20 Euros more (although that's very hard for my wallet) and get a lovely interior, too, then to pay less and have nearly no interior. Klaus-Dieter Quote

So I think that these prices are right. Quote

Derek Posted February 9, 2009 Author Posted February 9, 2009 (edited) "Fixing our roads, building people's house" Now that's a true hero ! Doing all that with an expression that says "I'm gonna kick you @$$" If this set is more than $10, it will be a complete ripoff. I understand the higher prices with the liscensed sets, but these are figs we can get for around $10, plus a good amount of bricks, with the impulse sets for cheaper. Almost as useful as an ice cube tray These new of magnet sets aren't like those before. The minifigs are totally normal and useable. The magnet sits in the brick that the minifigs are standing on, and they aren't glued to that brick either. Quote

Freddie Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 (edited) If my memory serves me right, that's the employee store in Billund, judging by the interior that can be seen in the background and the window placement. That would probably hint at why it's available there. Edited February 11, 2009 by Freddie Quote

Klaus-Dieter Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Thank you very much for these pics, Etzel and Steff! The magnet set is quite ok and even really nice but - since we already have these great Imulse sets - imo unneccessary. I'm really surprised that some of the summer City sets are already produced and are sold (even if they are only sold to the employees (Btw: I did not know that TLG's employees can get the sets in a seperate shop.)) that early! If I'm not wrong then you can see a house nummer on the right side of the entrance of the pizzeria, some tumblers through the windows on the second floor and some little interior in the bicycle shop (which I regrettably can not discover) and the minifig which waits has even a suitcase - that's really nice! I can't wait for the US Toy Fair when we hopefully will see some interior pics of the pizzeria, the bicycle shop and the camper! Klaus-Dieter Quote
