Picture of a new castle set for the next year - an incredible medieval market square - has leaked into the internet. The discussion about is starting up here.

Just thought you non-castlers would like to know this too...

Thanks for the great information!!! It's nice to know the prices. Clone War sets look much expensive. I am looking forward to all 2009 sets. Thank you so much, legomilk.

It seemed the following themes will be out in this months,

Pirates will be out in "May 2009"

CITY (Construction) will be out in "Jan 2009"

CITY (Farm) will be out in "April 2009"

Star Wars will be out in "Februray 2009"

I need to budget my finance for this incoming themes.

The Star Wars battle packs went up one €. They seem to notice they are popular. To bad the farm costs that mush if you only want it for the cows.

Nonsense, this topic is for ALL 2009 sets to be in, so thanks for bringing it to this topic as well. :sweet:

Also, thanks for the information, legomilk!

Thanks for the info, legomilk! :sweet: It's a good thing Pirates is coming out in May, should give me time to save up and buy Medieval Marketplace.

After looking at S@H, it seems that in Germany it already costs €13.99 for the existing battlepacks rather than the normal €12.99, so I suppose that it will still cost the same amount for the rest of Europe.

Can someone do a rough conversion to USD for me? For example - the Pirate ship is 79,99 (C with 2 lines through it...) What might that be?

Hah!! This rocks! Not the pictures, but something in the pictures. It appears to be a white fedora in the farm set with black and white cows, blue tractor, and a barn and shed. The farmer wearing it is in the top of the barn, and it is set 7637. And, upon close inspection, the super-small pictures of the set's functions also show him.

Currently, 79,99 Euro is ~$109.00

I expect it to be a $99.99 set.

Edit: This site has a currency converter:

Thanks!! Nice catch on the white fedora - I'm waiting especially on the black one myself.

My biggest question - why does Mace Windu have the cheesy grin?!

When it comes to prices of Lego sets the best way to convert prices is simplo to make an exchange of 1:1. The pricetag in Euro's are identical to the pricetag in USD. So a €79.99 price in Europe will be $79.99 in the US. With Star Wars sets the USD pricetag is less than the EURO (E.g. The rebel speeder is €12.95 but only $9.99 in the US) . I guess that's because the license fee is a percentage of the price and is applied after the 1:1 exchange.

On another note, we arent going to get an Ashoka Starfighter? You didnt know anything about it legomilk.

This picture is from the German shopcatalogue. In this catalogue is a picture of pirateset 6253 which isn't in the Dutch shopcatalogue. In the Dutch shopcatalogue is a picture of Ashoka's starfighter just in the upperright corner of the pic of the republic attack shuttle, but not of the pirateset 6253.

So maybe some sets are only for some countries, although I like both sets. :sceptic:
