I'm disappointed that we haven't seen any Agents yet. I wonder why those have been kept so closely under wraps?

Good point, I forgot about new Agents sets, what with the excitement over the new Space Police line and all.

Honestly the only reason why I remembered is because the set names really caught my attention. Something about a robot battle (omg exo-force) and an airship fortress sounded potentially awesome.

(then again, the new Power Miners sounded potentially awesome too, and look what happened.)

Does nobody else find the new creator house quite ugly? It's a great model, but the colour scheme just doesn't please my eye. I think it's the red roof and blue shutters with the tan walls. I'll still end up buying it though

Laurie

I actually quite like the colour scheme (only I have a greater need for black roof slopes, but the red roof looks better in this set). I just hope it has a good amount of normal bricks (like 1x2), not the 1x8 bricks and the 1x2x5 bricks, don't like the new shutters though+ I don't like that the roofs of creator houses are not finished.

Great pictures of hte new sets! Space police and Agents sure are getting alot of sets. Don't think I will pick up any beside the smallest one though.

I'm definitely getting the camper because of that great hairpiece.

The picture of trolls mountain fortress was hard to tell much from, I think I'll wait until someone has posted a review about it before I decide.

Well, now all we can do is wait...a long time

Holy Moly! :oh: Amazing find indeed! Thank you so much! I shall comment on the pics that are really new: the Agents ones! (I hope I'm allowed to :look: )

My thoughts:

Awesome, awesome, awesome! Some very nice vehicles, new villains, new uniforms, and best of all - bullet-proof vests! :cry_happy: Woohoo!

Gold Tooth's Getaway: A nice little affordable set with Gold Tooth in it! The vehicles are kinda "meh", but at least there are two rare pieces in that set: An orange telescope and a golden dinosaur baby! :sweet:

River Heist: Looks like Break Jaw's twin brother and his girlfriend! And she looks pretty cool! The catamaran boat thingy looks good too, and it has a mechanism that makes the propeller spin when you roll it over the floor - a cool play feature that I haven't seen since that one Technic set in the 90's! One question though: Who the heck builds a bank right next to the water? Oh well.

4-Wheeling Pursuit: A nicely designed Jeep with a nicely designed copter. Nothing too special for me though. But wait a minute - Is that a green Dr. Inferno? :oh: Sweet! Perhaps some kind of clone? Or maybe it's Slime Face who is pretending to be Inferno? We'll see.

Robo Attack: One word: AWESOME! :sweet: A very classic villain vehicle, and it looks like it wont cost more than the Turbo Car Chase, so this is the cheapest way to get Dr. Inferno to date! The glass dome piece looks cool! I think it's new. And I can't believe that TLG gives us several innocent civilians for Inferno to terrorize with this set! :oh3: One of them looks like he's bleeding from his eyes or something! I wonder what's up with that. :look: This is the only set of this wave that seems to come with Agent Trace. And Agent Chase is nowhere to be seen in this set. Strange. Maybe she broke up with him.

Aerial Defense Unit: A strange type of helicopter, but very cool looking! I'm loving the new robo-villain and his remote controlled minions! :sweet: Also, we get a new female Agent pilot here.

Overall, a very good looking year for Agents! :sweet:

I absolutely love these agents sets. The only problem is that one guy bleeding from the eyes....that scares me. Oh, and did anyone else notice the new agent in the helecopter set? Either that of trace got a hair cut

PS: does the scene on on the giant robot remind anyone else of the battle of hoth?

Either that of trace got a hair cut

 I was going to say the same thing, but I forgot.

That can't be, though, since she has her usual hair in the Robo Attack set.

Does the scene with the giant robot remind anyone else of the battle of hoth?

Yeah, I thought that too.

Heh, I didn't add them to my bookmarks or anything, no-siree....

After getting over the mind wo0t from those agents pics, I have to say that I know my theme for 2009. The lack if Space Police in the UK means I will have to go to supreme effort (reserved for Zoids really) to get hold of, I think nagging my uncle to pick up the impulse sets and a ship when he goes to Canada is my best bet. Therefore most of my money for toys will go on Agents :classic: Not to mention the 2008 sets I still don't have.

I dont know if this link has been poste before :classic:

~removed to stop me getting into trouble Peppermint~ if it has im sorry :cry_happy:

Algernon posted it and was told to remove it... We aren't allowed to post confidential pictures as Lego's competitors can steal the designs or make a rival theme (or so I've heard) the pictures do rock though, and the past few posts have been discussing them.

Just a heads up to help a newbie avoid trouble :classic:

Has these been posted yet.

Thanks for sharing, but please remind: Prelim. pictures are forbidden

Opinion:

Some new great sets. The best is the ''8970: Robo Attack'', with some new great figures and Dr. Inferno.

This set is a must buy.

All of the City sets are awesome. That Bus in City Corner is just awesome. I wonder why the chef is holding a pizza on the wooden board, in front of the kid. Sure, the kid will get the pizza (In his hand, or so he hopes; I think it'll be in his face) but he'll also be getting a wooden board in his face or body. I also like how the bus driver is obviously chasing after the runaway bus. It seems like the guy at the bus stop will be late to work, get fired, go home, tell his wife he was fired, get divorced, and end up at the bus stop again. Consequently, the kid is in fact riding on a stolen skateboard and helmet from the Shop next to the pizzeria building. Realizing this, the storekeeper runs outside to see the thief (Who is invariably going to also steal a pizza). It seems like his expensive security system didn't pay off. So now he'll have to close up. Oh, what woe in the city!

Been wanting to officially comment on those Agents sets for a couple of months! Love the look of te next line, and those new better quality pics are even sweeter. here are my thoughts:

Gold Tooth's Getaway:

Awesomesauce set. The vehicles aren't anything to write home about but the extras are fantastic. Great to see gold tooth again, I was hoping to get another of his hair. That orange telescope and gold baby dino are sweet too. Agent Chase's body armour looks to be a fantastic piece too, perfect for my Apocalyptic mocs.

River Heist:

One of the best sets. Love everything here, though the Inferno henchman here seems to actually be the child of Breakjaw and FireArm  Either way a slew of great minifig parts: silver breakjaw, robo arm, gold gun, robot face, inferno jumpsuit, red spalko hair, cool female face, dynamite and the female jumpsuit. The vault with flowing money is wonderful too, I hope we get atleast four pieces of cash. And of course more body armour, more orange hair and more barbed wire, I'm in heaven!

Wheeling Pursuit:

This looks to be the most average set to me of the bunch. I'm betting the angle does it no justice though. The Inferno mini chopper is great though, and what looks to be a lime green zombie Dr Inferno definitely peaks my interest in possibly getting this set!

Robo Attack:

Easily the best set of the bunch. This thing almost brought tears to my eyes upon seeing it, it's so retro! Love the giant glass dome atop where Inferno controls, hopefully it remains there. The amount of civilians is staggeringly awesome too, the guy with red glasses looks great too. That red Trace hair will be great for an alternate Poison Ivy too. Luckily trace herself is in the set too.

Aerial Defence Unit:

I'll admit, I wasn't that impressed when I first saw this, but upon reviewing it looks spectacular. I love that Agents gets a new member, I'm guessing their leader, which is pretty cool if true considering it's a woman. Those drones look great, love the torso pattern, but man they'd look better with robotic faces, THEN the switches on top, I feel cheated. Robo Breakjaw in the background looks promising though, very promising. And of course more frown rock pieces are always appreciated.

Now onto non-Agents things I am interested in/want to buy:

The Campervan:

A great looking set by itself but what I'm really interested in is that female hairpiece. I must have it! A red bike, surf board and fish is great motivation too.

Er...That's it, I'll go say my thoughts in the Space Police thread eventually. awesome agents though, so much WIN!

Batbrick Away!
