August 25, 200816 yr Author A smart and very funny creation you have there Dr. Sinister, though maybe it's a bit too pointless. Yeah, it's probably the most pointless thing ever! That word is just too awesome for you to use alone! Mind if I steal it? -Tarfful Feel free, it's not a word I made up, I got it from somewhere, can't recall where, it's been in my vocabulary for years. Dr. S.

August 26, 200816 yr Author Some more Walkamatron variants... * * * In the early 1940’s, special Walkamatrons were developed for military purposes. These machines had dual sets of legs on twin axles and were diesel powered. They typically mounted a small machine gun in the centre, or a flamethrower. They were produced by Sinister Incorporated in Tabletown factories for the Allies and became known as “Warmatrons”. In keeping with the Walkamatron principle of doing a job that humans couldn’t be bothered to do, Warmatrons were well suited for attacking enemy defences to save Allied troops having to leave their barracks. However in 1942, the Axis forces developed their own version of the Warmatron known as the “Reichsmatron”, and thus human troops were forced to enter battle once again as the war reached a stalemate. After the war, Sinister Incorporated sued the German government for patent infringement of the original Walkamatron device, and more specifically for failure to secure a licence to construct a foreign version of the Warmatron design. In 1989, a surviving Warmatron and a Reichsmatron were found in southern Italy, still locked in battle as no-one had bothered to turn them off. * * * In 1971, after falling sales of Walkamatron models across the board, Sinister Incorporated scientists branched out with a design that could slimb sheer cliff faces, or even buildings by using a series of pneumatic suckers. In addition, instead of the standard optical arrays on either side of the machine, tools could be gripped. The design resulted in the Burgluratron 3000. Unfortunately, the design only saw limited production after the Police closed down the factory and arrested all concerned. Doctor Sinister escaped capture and instead instituted legal proceedings against the Police for loss of profits. Dr. S.
