The Alchemyst Posted August 28, 2008 Posted August 28, 2008 So hi. I'm "The Alchemyst". I'm 14 and a sophmore, but I'm not going to act all silly on EB. My main interest is Bionicle and Technic, and the discussions of spoilers drew me here, because I wanted to add my two cents. I've been trying to break out some of my old system sets for a bit of fusion here and there. I live in Chicago, a large enough city. I'm Korean though, born in Seoul. Other interests include webcomics; there are too many to name, and reading good novels in general. I MOC, but nothing too spectacular; that's one of the reasons I'm starting to dabble in fusion. I've been a Lego fan for, a decade or so. I've played with Duplo back then, and some of the earliest Lego Sets that I have: King Kahuka...But it was made the year I was born, o.O Set 4145, I'm surprised there's no pic of it on Brickset... should I scan the instructions and take a pic of the box or something? And this silly Paradisa Set. But now Bionicle is my main interest, taking up space in my room and in my time. So, hello EB, and a good day to you! [-The Alchemyst-] Quote
WhiteFang Posted August 28, 2008 Posted August 28, 2008 Hello The Alchemyst, I like your introduction. For a 14 year old, you certainly know how to type well in your posts. Welcome to Eurobricks. Apart from Technics and Bioncles, is there any other System sets that might interest you? You migrated from Seoul to Chicago? I lived in Singapore. There is a couple of Chicago guys around here, especially the infamous whacker. Beware of him. WhiteFang Quote

Stauder Posted August 28, 2008 Posted August 28, 2008 Welcome to EB, As WhiteFang warned you beware of the wacker, he is wanted for crimes against walrus-kind, as well as for having un-invited apperances on EB News Presents. Oh, and stay out of my lead based paint chips. Stauder. Quote
Tarfful Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 Welcome to EB Alchemyst! Hmmm... I smell a fellow Fullmetal Alchemist fan. Am I correct? See you around on the boards... -Tarfful Quote

The Alchemyst Posted September 1, 2008 Author Posted September 1, 2008 Hello The Alchemyst,I like your introduction. WhiteFang Thank you. I think grammar and how you organize your posts goes a long way in making an impression. I haven't gotten a System set in years, truth be told, my last one was that Millenium Falcon (Not Collector's Edition), I got as a Gift. I have been MOCing in system, recently, after my arrival here. Space has always piqued my interest for MOCs. Welcome to EB, As WhiteFang warned you beware of the wacker, he is wanted for crimes against walrus-kind, as well as for having un-invited apperances on EB News Presents.Oh, and stay out of my lead based paint chips. Stauder. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for him. And about the paint chips, too late. Welcome to EB Alchemyst! Hmmm... I smell a fellow Fullmetal Alchemist fan. Am I correct? See you around on the boards... -Tarfful Nope, although I have heard of it an seen it around. Name is from a book, as with the Banner and Avatar. I'm not really a big Anime and Manga fan anymore. Currenly, only 2 Manga or so pique my interest. Hi and welcome to our community! If brickset doesn't have a pic of a set that you have, I'd mail a scan to them. Ah, thanks... But since it is a Freestyle set, doesn't have a pic of the set on the front cover... =/ I'll try scanning and sending the wrinkled instructions. Thanks for the warm welcome everybody.
