BlueBard Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 After looking at some MOC car on Brickshelf for the Maffia comic I'm preparing (if everything is ok I'll be able to show you the first episode before the end of September ) I found some Smart models and I decided it would work very well and I have built a version: Quote
BlueBard Posted August 29, 2008 Author Posted August 29, 2008 Thanks! Actually I wanted to do a red one too but I was out of red bricks Quote
Skinny Boy Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 I Love the Mafia, well the idea of the Mafia. Nice car, though small, could prove to be plentiful and useful. Though, I feel I am slipping away from the Mob, more into street gangs, i'm making a brickfilmabout them (see my sig) which is kkeping me busy. Can't wait to see what you make. BTW Is there a city you are basing it in? New York? Chicago? Or just your lego city? Quote
Minifig Lecturer Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 But why would a mafioso drive a Smart? They don't go fast or for long. You have environmental conscience mafiosos? Quote
BlueBard Posted August 29, 2008 Author Posted August 29, 2008 But why would a mafioso drive a Smart? They don't go fast or for long. You have environmental conscience mafiosos? Oh, I never said this one would be a car for the maffia, just that it's going to appear in the comic. Anyway don't think it would take place in the 1930's, the classic maffia ages, but nowadays. BTW Is there a city you are basing it in? New York? Chicago? Or just your lego city? It will take place in Lego City, but I'm still looking at Town Backgrounds for it... i'm making a brickfilmabout them (see my sig) Great work, by the way Quote
Skinny Boy Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 It will take place in Lego City, but I'm still looking at Town Backgrounds for it... Great work, by the way Hmmmm, is the city called Lego city? Or will you be naming it. I am also in need of a name. The words Cedar Bay keep popping into my head... for my city, please don't steal it . Thanks for your appreciation. The video is not nearly done, and will soon feature a modified metroliner, posing as a subway (like the one in the 'Go miniman Go' vid). Sorry for going all off topic, but I am enjoying the discussion. Quote
