August 31, 200816 yr Now I'm a very good painter, and I'm pretty good at sketching. So... Image 1: Now this is pretty good. But what is it? 2: Awesome. The mantis has some realy good detailing, and certainly mechanical. It seems like that American chillers book, Iron insects or something. 3: Wow, this could pass as a sub! The best of them all. 4: Interesting.. They seem to follow the previous two images. Very nice. 5: What is it? The face and arms are very nice, but the body could be a bit better..Unless it's just a blob. Very nice work Gunnar.
August 31, 200816 yr Comments: 1. Looks like a wolf with red fur. 2. A praying mantis isn't mechanical and it isn't as big as a house. 3. The squid tentacles aren't long enough. It's mechanical. 4. Bugs are mechanical and wings are strangely colored. 5. What is it? 3 eyes, a beard, two claws.... a 3-eyed Santa crab? Overall, good pictures! Edited August 31, 200816 yr by lego12
August 31, 200816 yr Author 1. Google it. 2: At lego12: How observant! At VBBN: Never heard of it. Thanks you. 3. At lego12: Different squids have different tentacle-lengths. These are modeled off a couple of preserved squid I have here on my desk. 4: At lego12: Colors inspired by this. 5. See here.

Oh sorry about the tentacle-lengths. The wolf-thing is cool. Spooky... Good drawings though! Edited August 31, 200816 yr by lego12
