Erdbeereis Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 This past weekend I was in Minnesota and went to the LEGO store in the Mall of America. Here are some pics. These are some MOCs by the TwinLUG group. They had them up for display at the store. A very nice Agents MOC. This is a great idea with the laser beam. Some sort of Harry Potter MOC with a nice rounded wall. In the jungle... I love the loincloth The Pick-a-Brick wall with a very excited looking woman. What I ended up with. Two large cups of pick-a-brick, two self made minifigs, the new coast guard helicopter, 7991 garbage truck and the police officer impulse set. Overall, a happy trip! Nice tan 1x8s. Lots of green flower bases. The 2 figs I built. They actually had the old princess leia slave body! It is frustrating though that they only have those dumb basketball legs. Does anyone know which set the fleshie suit torso came in? Brown! Plenty of black jumper plates. I can't believe how many pieces you can fit into these cups! And the sets. The LEGO store was nice albeit busy. Lots of sets were up for display, such as all of the Agents sets, the Green Grocer, UCS Millennium Falcon (It's gigantic!) and General Greivous. Thanks, and happy building! Quote
VBBN Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Thanks for sharing this. Those displays are nice. And that agents MOC is like james bond... Looks like you got a good haul! I want some brown... And that yellow princess leia torso!! Quote
Asuka Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 A very nice trip indeed. Thanks for the nice pics, especially those nice displayed MOCs. Quote
Axle Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 The Body is from J.J Jameson from the Spiderman set with the subway train carriage. Quote
Skinny Boy Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Ohhhh how I miss the pick a brick in Smyths. I don't know why they took it down, and it definitely wasnt because they needed more space. Seems odd how they only have the basketball legs. I really need to go to America... Quote
Erdbeereis Posted September 2, 2008 Author Posted September 2, 2008 The Body is from J.J Jameson from the Spiderman set with the subway train carriage. Thanks for clearing that up for me! Quote
Axle Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 Ohhhh how I miss the pick a brick in Smyths. WHAT?! I NEVER new they used to have Pick-A-Brick in Smyths! What year was this? 1993? Quote
Siegfried Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 That image is freaky; take a second look at the navel... Quote
Wout Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 That image is freaky; take a second look at the navel... O my god! Carrie Fisher has 2 belly-buttons, she's really an alien! BTW thanks for the nice pic VBBN. In the movie you saw so many of Leia herself with this outfit, that I never saw these nice boots she wears. Quote
3.14 Toasts Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 The flesh suit torso is also in 8401 City Minifigure Collection. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 My nearest pab is Legoland Windsor (and by nearest I mean many many miles away. Locate Cardiff and follow main roads to Windsor...) Cool finds. Pity about the legs Quote
