Lord Of Pies Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 (edited) Hey guys, I found this interesting site, it shows Eurobricks monthly traffic with the daily traffic shown on a graph spread over month(s). Their are some interesting facts and figures. For example 48.9 percent of Eurobrick users are Yanks with Britain trailing on 13.2% in second. Funnily enough the number of page views went up quite dramatically in August but are falling down again now. Summer holidays perhaps? Anyway click here for the site. Edited September 2, 2008 by Hinckley our site is called EurobrickS. Thanks... ;) Quote
Cardinal Brick Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 I find it quite amusing that Eurobricks is most popular with Americans, can this be confirmed? Quote
JINZONINGEN73 Posted September 2, 2008 Posted September 2, 2008 Funnily enough the number of page views went up quite dramatically in August but are falling down again now. Summer holidays perhaps? No, I'm guessing it's KIDS. The 2009 catalog images were leaked in late August, kids migrated from more annoying Lego websites to discuss them here without persecution... ...then it became "old" news and the kids had to go back to school because vacation was over. That's my theory and I'm stickin' to it. There's really not much question that kids are a bigger part here, year after year. There's not many Bionicle sites out there that let them talk about new stuff without being banned, much less cursing while doing so. When you look at page views and such, you just can't deny that Bionicle is a larger draw than other Lego lines at times: http://www.flickr.com/groups/818883@N25/ EDIT: Looking at EVERY other website I regularly visit, Lego AND non-Lego, it's the USA at the top every time. Nikola Bathory Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 Ah yes, alexa.com Very useful. As for UB - I think it's a very good LEGO community, the best I've managed to find so far. Quote
brickzone Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 Isn't Alexa just based on people who install the Alexa software on their browser? Meaning it won't give an accurate picture as it's biased to who would use Alexa? In essence it could simply be showing that more Eurobricks visitors from US use Alexa, than visitors from Europe. Captain Zuloo Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 Thanks for this site - although I wasn't as pleased as I could have been with the results of classic-pirates.com. Although I know lots of people visit it daily, so it could be wrong. Never know... Quote
captaintau Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 For example 48.9 percent of Eurobrick users are Yanks Probably 90% of those hits are Hinckley Quote
