VBBN Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 Well, for quite a many people, today marked the beginning of school. So what are your thoughts? As for me, I have quite an interesting schedual this year. And what a timeit was. To satart, 3 of my ex girlfriends were in my Science(yea yea, i know), and one of my newest girlfriends was there, as well as Katie(in my art class.) So how was everyones day? Quote
Derek Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 I dont go back until Thursday! Summer flew by so fast, but I'm happy to go back to school. And that sounds like quite the female situation there, VBBN... Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 Crowded. The school got 100 more applicants than they expected, so things were hectic. Quote
Faramir Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 I still gots about 2 more hours left of the summer partay until school so *thbbtbtftbfhf* Sound like science should be interesting for you... Quote
meschepers Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 I am in my third week of school at Oklahoma State University. My classes are all going well and this is my last semester... then I get to be a secondary/high school teacher... yay? The real world is knocking at my door and I am not all that thrilled. Quote
cartoondude Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 I started school a week ago and on of my new friends likes lego. Quote
THE-FORCE Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 I am already a month on school. With only 1 class, with 1 teacher and with 7(to 9) other learners. So I don't have to move to another class because my teacher teaches every class! My classes: English, German, Dutch, Math, History and Physics. My school is in a forest and there a over total 50 á 70 people(including children), small school actually. I like school. Greets, Rob/The-Force. Quote
Freddie Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 School, or should I rather say college, started two weeks ago for me. This should be my last two terms as a full-time student, but the subjects I'm taking are rather unusual as they are practical, i.e. part of my education is actually heading out to a company and work on a project for them. I won't get paid for it, but I've heard good results lead to a nice cheque and a job, so I'm rather excited. Subjects I'm taking are "Practical leadership", "Strategic Entrepeneurship" and "Corporate Communication". And this term there won't be any exams other than those I haven't passed, which is great. Shoc Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 Wow, I can see how different the time zones are in America and England - It's only 12:00pm here, and you posted that you've finished today's school hours ago! I dont go back until Thursday! Same with me. The younger years start today at mine, but my year go in tomorrow. Fortunately my lessons for tomorrow and Friday are pretty good ones, 3 periods of fun Media Studies with my girlfriend, 4 periods of interesting Science with my good Lego fan friend Jack, then a few other lessons which shouldn't be too bad. Education can be boring, but I am excited to see all my friends again, I haven't seen them very much at all in the holdiays, due to out travels at different times. :skull: Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 I have off from school untill january muhahahaha! But do your best in there guys, and stay in school! Quote
Plural Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 My year started at 10 today while the rest of the school started at the normal time of 9. Me and 2 other people from my year forgot about this however and we went in at the normal time. We were then made to wait outside the school gates untill 10 o'clock. Quite possibly the weirdest start to a school year. Quote
steelharbingerofdeath Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 oh god i made such a foolish mistake, i was due to start school today but i didn't realise! i thought i was starting tomorrow! oh well i will just use a diabetes related excuse... steel... Quote
Brainbox Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 Went back to college the other day. Honestly? My timetable is awful. I've got big 4 hour breaks in the middle of 3 of the 5 days. I've no time to go home in them, so I'm at college pretty much all day, every day. I need to find something to do, so I might ask if any of the staff need any help... Quote
commanderbly42 Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 I started school last week. So far, my classes are French I, Algebra II (honours), Civics and Economics (honours), and Principles of Business (so boring ). So, it's not a bad way to start the year. Quote
JimBee Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 It was alright. I saw some friends that I haven't seen in a while, got a load of homework on the second day (today), and played 'pass the weed in the hippie circle' (just kidding). My algebra teacher is a *****. Other than that, an alright start. Quote
Trexxen Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 'pass the weed in the hippie circle' Oh, people at my school do that every day during lunch on the second floor bathrooms. Can't miss it. <_< Except it's more of a "gangsta" circle. =P And I don't think they pass it unless they get passed money... Joking about something that probably DOES happen aside, I've been in for a month now. Latin II is enjoyable; Chem I is very, very, VERY overrated on its difficulty; Gym is meh - fun because it's not schoolwork, meh because I'm not athletic in any way at all; and Government...uh, it'd be a lot better if the group I'm assigned to could get their crap together on our project. Sigh... Oh, and school newspaper. Writing a music column in a school that primarily listens to rap as a person that listens to metal/classic rock...oh, it's win. I'm introducing them to decent stuff <_<; (Also a technology column, because I'm a nerd. And I mean that in a good way - being a nerd is ALWAYS a good thing. Think about it - Bill Gates is a nerd too; worked out pretty well for him didn't it?) ~Trexxen Quote
VBBN Posted September 4, 2008 Author Posted September 4, 2008 Wow... My english teacher went to school with my sister when she was young... Not only that, but my sister teaches english... Thank god they weren't enimies, or i'd be screwed. Quote
Derek Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 I've never heard of english teachers being enemies with each other. I love my english teacher, she is the best. English teachers ON! darthperson Quote
